Trump picked Vance who actually compared Trump to Hitler. Now he's the VP candidate.

I gave shit to Biden picking Kamala, this is at least as bad.

Politics in this country is wild. No matter how much you shit on the president, you can still become VP.

Are there no competent options on both sides? Like you can't pick a reasonable candidate that doesn't hate you?

IMO I would say Harris and Vance are far more fit for the presidency than Biden and Trump. Vance is interesting.,. He has kind of given up his “hillbilliness” and become a huge advocate for Silicon Valley I guess he discovered as a politician the rich elite can offer him something the people of Ohio can’t

It's just weird that the apparent best choices were 2 VP candidates that have openly said terrible things about their presidential nominee.

If Trump wins, Vance will get cooked by Trump just like Pence was. I wouldn't want to be his VP if I had any future presidential aspirations.

So, I was reading that Mark Kelley would be the best Dem option for beating Trump if Biden was to drop out. The push to get Biden to withdraw had stalled over the previous few days but is now back with a vengeance. Thoughts?

No ...no it couldn't. Regarding your other post I would kick the tires on Kelley. I am not a Manchin fan but would vote for him too. Honestly if Haley won the Republican nomination I would've probably voted for her over Biden

Hey, it's a 2024 Presidential election so obviously this was the right thread. The Venezuelan Presidential election is 28 July and polls have the opposition up by 40%. My predictions is Maduro pulls it out and "officially" wins 52-48%. We won't talk about the actual unofficial count.
