um, we were #3 last year without lavar... if anything that proves the value of pierce or of having marshall's speed at OLB or the importance of our corners much more than the usefulness of lavar (whos been a total nonfactor since GW/JG got here).

That statement could only be placed here to imply that williams defense will crumble without lavar, but that makes zero sense, cause he's never played in it to begin with :P

we're 3-1 and our D is still doing alright, all this sky is falling crap has got to stop.

He is not perfect and neither is Lavaar. But bottom line the Redskins have not blitzed this year. So maybe they are saving him for the long haul which makes a better thought.

I was just reading over on Extremeskins that Gibbs was on 980 today and said (paraphrasing quote) "I've talked to LaVar 3 times more than i've talked to any player in my 30 year history of coaching....he knows exactly why hes not playing and exactly what he needs to do to get on the feild."

Somthin aint stirrin the kool-aid, man.
