Well, that was the shortest tenure I have ever had in a job. I just quit Alltel to run a job placement agency.
A couple of the girls at Alltel didn't like that I was changing things up and actually holding them accountable. (ie: they were taking close to 10 smoke breaks a day and were constantly on their cell phones even when with customers, and I refused to allow that) They then made up a story that they "heard" from someone that I said they asked me for a 3 some. H.R. came in and had a conversation with me, and while I wasn't written up, I felt like I was run over. I had never been accused of something like that...EVER. I was quite hurt. They purposely treated me like crap for the past few days, and I couldn't do anything about it.
I was offered another job, and I took it tonight. I just KNOW that if I stayed, they could make up some story that I grabbed their ass or something, then I'd be fired.
HR and their policies have gone too far. I have built a great reputation for myself, and 2 woman that want to smoke 10+ times a day win cause they lied. That's not right.

Damn jsarno. That's messud up. At least you were fortunate enough to get another job offer at an opportune time. Regardless you got outta there just in the nick of time. That could have gotten way uglier than it did. I HATE employees like that. I have worked in management and dealt with that kind of BS. Blech

Ya, thanks man. I have built up a solid reputation in this town, and I had 4 other offers when I took the Alltel job...had I known then what I know now, I would have never taken the job.
I live in such a small town that people have nothing else better to do but drink, do drugs, and gossip / spread rumors. I don't like drama, but this town is all about it.
I guess I never thought something like that would ever happen to me. My friends are VERY upset about it. They know me, and know how professional I am. Oh well...crap happens I guess.

I would have told them to give me the threesome. At least then I would be leaving over what I was accused of. Not really, I am just trying to shed some light on the situation. It just goes to show you that men are up shit's creek without paddle when women get a hair up their ass to hurt someone. They have all the control...and it seems that 8 out of 10 H.R. people are women, and that just makes matters worse.

Yeah, then invite the HR director to join in and make it a solid 4 some. The one that accused me has a nice body, but a butterface. Kind of looks a little like a monkey with a unabrow. The other girl has serious acne and no ass...but is OK...slutty too. The HR director was around 40 and had a decent body as well, but seems like there is a permanant stick shoved up her ass.
I have never cheated on my wife, and we've been married for over 10 years, I doubt I would start now.

That's crazy. Good thing you got out when you could. I remember in my last job, I was the marketing director for a radio station and there were a couple of subordinates after my job. One of them "anonymously" posted a rumor on a radio message board that I was a coke fiend and soon people started saying you could see me in the VIP section of different clubs in DC snorting coke with musicians and models. It was so far fetched that no one took it seriously. But still it shows you the extent some people will go to.

I have missed being on the board lately! I have been in the midst of this move back to DC and starting a new job, so I have had literally no time to post. Fortunately there isn't much going on in the NFL world, so it's less for me to miss while I've been so busy. Going to my first Orioles game in Camden Yards in 8 years tomorrow night! Can't wait. I have been limited to sorry ass Tropicana Field in Tampa since I've lived in FL. That place sucks.

I actually agree with you about Jones-Drew getting hosed... I remember watching him at the combine and telling my cousin that he is one of my rookie targets for last years fantasy football team, and boy did he pay off, the guy has tree trunks for thighs, he is gonna be good for a long time...

I agree with redskins8588...just give it a couple years. Jones Drew is the closest I have seen since Barry retired.

By the way...Barry was not the fastest in terms of top speed...he would get run down, what made Barry, Barry, was his ability to bounce off closed holes and make defenders miss.

Dunno man...I just went a rant about what real basketball is all about in the lebron thread.
I used to coach basketball, and I watched these kids practice on how to celebrate more than focus on practicing. It made me sick, so I ran them until they were sick. Those kids never celebrated until the final buzzer sounded. If they did...it was time to run themselves til they puke.

Saw your post. First basketball game I went to was a Spurs game at the Alamo Dome, so I got some love for them. They were playing your Celtics ironically. I really don't see how they can't be liked, apart from the fact that people like to knock others down when they're up. And SA has been up for nearly a decade now. I think that's a class organization from top to bottom.
