Have the Redskins ever gone 0-6 in the division before?
...Man that's awful.
Okay not since 1970 have we gone 0-6 in the division according to Redskin Post Game. Man. I wish I was old enough to remember the Redskins heyday |
Please lose next week. I hardly ever condone tanking, but we are talking about a difference of maybe about five slots.
If they actually tried to lose they would probably eff that up too. Don't worry. They couldn't score on the Chargers practice squad right now. If Sproles touches the ball 3 times he will provide all the points needed to beat these coaches. |
Sad day. We let the Cowboys clinch the playoffs in our own house without a fight.
With that said, I will be at the Chargers game next week supporting my team. Sometimes it sucks to be an unconditional fan :(
live just North of San Diego was thinking of going to see Skins play Chargers but why waste my time and money.I got DTV NFL ticket just watch at home.If we lose i can be mad a t home LOL.... __________________ |

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
I'm going to relish the day when the Skins are playing well and teams fear us. I'll relish when we can play...
NE and run up the score 50+ on them. NYG and run up the score 40+ on them. Dallas give them a goose egg at home. and anyone else who ran the score up on us. and beat the NFC East teams twice in one year. Just humiliate them. |
ok i gave it enough time.... is zorn still our coach?
is that a real question..... he a dead man walking....... welcome to Washington Coach Shanahan!!!! |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
It sounds like Shanahan might try to bring in Zimmer as well and try to run a 3-4 defense. I'd almost like Rob Ryan if we could pull him from the Browns, but he's under contract.

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
How the eff does an f-ing imbecile like Jim Zorn get a job making 2.5 million a year.
I really would enjoy punching him in the face... |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
so now, maybe we can start really thinking about next year..... we just need to lose the last game against the Charger's..... and that should set us up with a top 6 pick.... I say it again, when games now for moral victory does nothing for us...... at all, its time to move on after next week..... Zorn is fired monday..... wednesday.... Shanahan is annouced our next head coach!!!
|
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
Zorn still fighting for his HC job.....
Zorn isn't doing anything dude, but just going along with it at this point. First he loses playcalling duties, now the Shanny is a done deal shit. He doesn't care. He has only 7 days of this hell left, that is what he is probably thinking. Just like a little kid counting down the days til Xmas. I can't blame him either. Wasn't given much to work with, but a bunch of overpaid bums. |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
Is anyone else watching this fucking idiot during the press conference?
What is with that Goddamned smirk? |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
I wonder how Smootsmacks smackdown will look like....
Offense- we sucked. Defense- looked ok. Coaching- sucked. LOL |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
Please fire this idiot. I will buy a jersey if you do...
At least we have the off season with new coach and High draft pick coming soon....
Yeah... If Bruce Allen is the EVP/GM and Shanahan is the HC, who else is personnel? |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
Jim Zorn is autistic.

And what good does that do us? That happens about every other year for the Redskins it seems. |

They made fun of Gibbs for being the master of the obvious? This guy couldn't master-bate. |

well just wanted to make it official with a lil bit of sarcasm |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
I find my self wondering if Shanahan is going to simply bring everything from Denver here, or is going to look to upgrade what he had there? I guess whoever is in the scouting department will be better then what we have now. Whoever will be the position coach's.

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
With our luck Shanny will tell Snyder to stick it and end up in Gainesville if he watched tonights dreadful performance!!!!!
|
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
"Uh, yeah, good question. Yeah if you are 20% on 3rd down that isn't good enough...."
Really? "It was a disaster" No, Jim, the game wasn't a disaster. You are a GD f-ing disaster. I am so pissed at Snyder for making me watch this pickle sniffer wearing our colors these last few weeks... |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
Who is worse than us right now? KC? Seattle? I think either of those teams could beat us...are you watching Danny?

However your play by play is great. |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
JC didn't look to happy at the end when we punted on onstead of going for it on that 4th down with time running low for a 3 score game. I am wondering if he just might deide to scram out of here if he gets a half decent deal somewhere else.
|
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
Only decent thing about the game was Kelly got more involved, but I am not sure if he deserves a roster spot on the team still.
|
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
I also have DTV but I purchased the tickets before the season started. Plus i've only been to a few Redskins games so I would probably go anyways...

I am having a hard time finding a reason to cheer for us also. We need the highest pick available, either to procure the best OL on the board or to garner more picks by giving our #1 up. On top of that I still would like to see Norv do some damage with the Chargers in the playoffs and want to see them continue their hot streak. |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
Did Zorn really say we're 4-13 during the press conference?
|
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
1 more week
Who is worse than us right now? KC? Seattle? I think either of those teams could beat us...are you watching Danny?
Our O-line play is poor enough for us to lose to any team. Hopefully Bruce Allen has taken notice after two embarrassing home losses on national TV.

I still want to see what a qualified WR coach and a better scheme will do with our three young WR's Thomas, Kelly, and Mitchell. I'm telling you it has a lot to do with Hixon. Dallas's Austin has done well this year. The Eagles WR has done well, and the two Rookie WR's the Giants have have done well. Ours have done nothing and they were projected to be 1st round tallent. I'd rather see if someone else can develope them. If a qualified WR coach (not a college coach) can develope them it will be nice. |
Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)
WE will find out soon enough if those guys can be developed.Thomas and Kelly do show some promise, but not sure if they are going to be the real threats that we hoped them to be.
