Holy cow, are you a professional photographer? If not, you should be. Amazing photos...looks like you had a nice spot too.
Puts my photos (see fan appreciation day thread) to shame...but many of mine were taken from 50 yards away with only the stock lens (Fuji S7000 DSLR).
Haha.. Thanks. I was actually standing about 20 feet *behind* the sideline crowd, on the hill. I got a Nikon d5000 DSLR with a crazy zoom lens (70-300mm) when my baby was born. Not a photographer by a long shot, although I take a ton of pics for fun. The Nikon lens makes the pictures look amazing. |

The pictures look great, thanks for sharing them. I found it funny that I think I heard on the news that Shanahan has a rule that shirts must be tucked in or something like that, but Kyle's shirt was half tucked/half hanging out. LOL. |

Nice. I'm definitely going to try to get an add-on zoom lens and some filters for my (wife's) camera before next year. |

I think its Bobby Turner. |
Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
I think that is Bobby Trner. It is one of the posisiton coaches there have been a couple references of him and his sweats in articles written. I kept reading about the guy in sweat pants, but now I can't remember who he is. May be the Dline or Oline coach. Damn it I can't remember.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
Some guy near me said he wears them just to lose weight. :D
It was hot in the sun....he's nuts. Those don't even look like lightweight sweats...they're Eskimo-grade...probably half an inch thick and 2-ply. |
Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
Yeah those are the big dogs!

Shanahan had some pretty rough things to say about Bartel the other day. Can't remember where I heard it now |
Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
Well at least we will get to see alot of this Beck guy I suppose.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
Seems like Beck has the inside track to the #3 spot.

I'd guess that wearing sweats to "sweat" off weight wouldn't work too well anyway. Although you'd probably burn a little fat, you'd mostly only lose water weight and eventually get dehydrated. |

If we have a #3 spot on the final 53. Is he still eligible for the PS? I think he may have already past this point in his career, but I am not sure. |

That does it. I now have the proof I need to demonstrate that Landry has been using PED's. Here's a picture of Landry before Shanahan's offseason program And here's what he looks like now |

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
yeah, did the jets release him because of his staggering $685K/year salary like it was reported? Or was there on the field issues that led to his Ousting, like he was possibly declining in productivity or they had someone better on the roster?
Anyone know? |

If he lives up to his name, he will be completely lacking. |

Healthy again and happy to be back A handful of Redskins saw their first game action in quite a while on Friday night. Guys like Chris Cooley, Chad Rinehart, Clinton Portis and Jeremy Jarmon saw their 2009 seasons cut short due to injury. Others -- Maake Kemoateu and Adam Carriker -- spent all of last season on injured reserves, and both D-linemen looked steady in their first game back. "I felt good," said Carriker, the team's starting left end. "I hadn't played live game action in awhile, so I was pretty juiced up. There's a play or two, you can always do better. But for the most part, I thought I did pretty good." Kemoateu started at nose tackle and seems to grasp his role well. His name doesn't appear in the final stat sheet, but those around him were able to make plays - including Carriker. On DeAngelo Hall's interception, Carriker almost got to Bills' quarterback Trent Edwards before Edwards threw the ball. "In my mind, I was thinking, 'One more second!'" Carriker said. "He threw and D-Hall got the pick. So that's even better than a sack." Both Kemoateu and Carriker appear to have comfortable spots with the first unit for right now, especially if Albert Haynesworth moves to right defensive end when he eventually joins the starters. Neither seems too worried about the depth chart; they're both just happy to playing football again. "When we came here to play one time, I heard it was like a college atmosphere," Carriker said. "It's a preseason game, but it was pretty rowdy out there. I was excited. I was jazzed up to play." |

Ah, but a dearth of bad snaps means that he will be completely fulfilling his role. |

Glen Coffee
Sounds like he didn't really want to play in the first place. He should have just taken himself out of the draft then. That really screws the 49ers out of a draft pick. He was a decent RB too. THank God they still have Gore, but if he gets hurt look out!!!! |

I'd have a problem with him retiring if it was so he could get high off purple drank all day and hang with his homeboys, but I can't fault him if he wanted to devote himself to his religion, which is what it sounds like. Granted the 9ers wasted a third round pick on him but other teams have made worse deals, we wasted a 2nd round pick on Jason Taylor for 1 year. If he wants to devote himself to his religion and the NFL interfered with that, well he has to do what he has to do. |

Two guys from Tarleton State in the NFL...and they both play for the Redskins. It's the new U!
