Pockets's "criticisms" just seem to be generic flames though.
Still, people here are quickly to blame players and not say anything about the coaching staff. |
and we finish LAST in the division (or tied)......
Tied and I think we pick before the Cowboys in the draft. |
Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread
Giants no Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith today, as well as losing their center Shubert so I guess we still played them tough.
|
Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread
Yeah, how dare someone criticize the coaching staff.
I have no problem with criticism, but when you continually utter non-sense it gets really old really fast. |
Did we have a time out?
They called a timeout after the runner was down. Complete whiff by a "Super Bowl Champion". |

I might have been a little quick with the F-bomb (sorry), but moron was probably too kind of a description... |

Yea lets blame the coaches for the 3 fumbles and not the player.:yeahright |

My bad. Obviously I see things that you can't process. That is understandable, you are from South Carolina. |

Cut Gano's ass. He's just like Suisham, but with a bigger leg.
Add that to the infinite list of coaching errors this season. |
Yea lets blame the coaches for the 3 fumbles and not the player.:yeahright
I'm not saying the players are blameless, but you will see that 9 times out of 10 people b*tch about just the players. A 6-10 record is an embarrassment for both players and coaches, but you will see threads left and right blaming just players. |
Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread
I like Shannahan cleaning house and playing the young guys he's gonna make it right here in DC. I wish he did'nt crap on Mcnabb but he's gotta go. Rex is garbage and he looked great for the most part. We won 2 more games than last year and would've been 4 maybe even 5 if not for Gano missing easy kicks.

I would disagree. It's a GM error, and of course, Shanahan is the GM. While I find Shanahan the coach adequate, the GM has been subpar. |
Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread
All you negative fans get off the bandwagon now so next year you won't bring your BS to the warpath. We will be much better under a 2nd season with Shanny.

You know your butt buddy Haynesworth is from South Carolina so what's your point. |
Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread
Well that's a wrap. Disappointing year overall, but at least it's trending upward from last year. Hopefully we can get to .500 or better next season.

So him calling a timeout instead of a challenge (which in the worst case scenario ends up being a timeout) when the QB's knee touched the ground before he pitched it, isn't a coaching error? That 4th and 1 left when Osi was unstoppable wasn't a coaching error? |

That wasn't his point but you obviously didn't get that either. So to use your catch phrase "Smarten' up" |

Why even bother? No offense, but there were many deficiencies with the team today to just point at that one situation. Look, I'm not one of these ppl that thinks that Shanahan is infallible, but you were over doing it a bit. Just an observation. |

I'm with you, I'm interested in where we will be drafting and excited to see what this regime does in free agency after labor deal is reached. |

Redskins losses sure bring out the worst in people. Geez.

So we paid 7.5million to run our two most talented players out of town and then get ridiculous game management?? This is progress? |

I sure hope they settle this labor agreement sooner than later so next season will not be disrupted.

Agreed. I know this team has a lot of work to do and a lot of holes to be filled but I don't feel negative heading into the second year of the Shanny regime. Grossman has proved (even if he isn't our qb of next year or the future) that if you take the right qb for Kyle S. good things can happen. A lot of us were questioning Kyle Shanny when McNabb was stinkin the joint up, but I think Kyle Shanny has definitely solidified his standing with the fanbase with what Grossman has done at qb. I'm definitely interested to see who will be under center when 2011 comes along, and I also agree that I just don't see a way where there's a lockout. Both the players and owners understand that no season equals no money, and I don't think either side wants that to happen. |
