The ravens will struggle to score this year, that D better be good again

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
At some point that defense has to show some signs of aging and slowing down, but it just NEVER happens. It's like you put on that uniform and you morph into a great defensive player.
I think they've lost like 5 or 6 players this off season? |

Yes. Rice will be better, though. I wonder why we didn't sign him. Maybe $4 mil a year for a fullback just seemed too expensive. |
I have a couple of buddies who are WVU alums and still head down to Morgantown a few times a season for games. Apparently it's pretty common knowledge that he's a big pot head, he already has a few kids by a few different women. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the reasons he went undrafted were character issues (in addition to being small and oft-injured).
The kid did have a rough childhood. Both of his parents were drug addicts and both have died from AIDS. Pretty tough.
i thought he went undrafted mainly because of his size and his foot injury, i'm a pretty big wvu fan and all i remember hearing about noel was his his workouts, dude is jacked, i would still love for the skins to give him a look. his chilidhood was brutal pretty sure he was also a witness to his best friends murder too |

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
So David Carr goes back to the Giants, which means that if we didn't re-sign Grossman there is a QB potentially out there with experience in Kyle's offense (Sage)..but I think (hope) we keep Grossman

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Grossman is playing hardball. He wants to be paid starter money. If this was an uncapped year then I'd pay him. But since the cap is back I wouldn't give him starter money. It would be a bad hit for us in the long run. Go after Bulger, Brody Croyle, Farve or trade for sweet Jimmy Clausen, LOL!

Croyle or favre? SMH

Anderson is the new Josh McCown. Actually I take that back. No one can manage to continue to find work like Josh was able to over the past decade. |

Leinart also resigned with Houston like 4 days ago. WTH man? Condensed offseason is killing me. This type of stuff is only suppose to happen when I watch the NBA. "Baron Davis is on the Cav's when did he leave the Hornets? They traded him from where?" |

At the trade deadline last season for a first round pick which got the Cavs the first pick in the draft (for taking on his salary) even though it had like a 4% chance of winning. |

Oh don't give me that crap. LA Clippers, Golden State Warriors, same thing. lol At least the Cavs still have Ben Wallace. Actually the funny thing about Ben Wallace is that you can be wrong about which team he plays for and still be right. Like most people will say Detroit thinking he never left even though he played for Chicago and Cleveland before going back to Detroit. By the way how is Ben Gordan doing in Chicago? |
Cromartie is staying with the Jets
I don't get what people's fascination with him and the 'Skins was. Cromartie is a gambler, a slightly taller version of D.Hall, and there's no way we need 2 gambling starting cornerbacks on this team. I liked what we had last year with Rogers and Hall, and if Rogers doesn't resign I'll be curious to see how Wilson performs as a starting corner. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Panthers looking at Carlos Rogers. Lions signed Eric Wright, who I would have loved to get here.
Brent Grimes is still a FA...we need to get that kid! I'm sure we can afford him, we have not had a huge blockbuster signing yet. Too bad Seattle is a 4-3 team, because Lofa Tatupu could b a great addition. |

The Niners are looking at Carlos:

Weren't the Jets looking at him? I guess with the Cro signing they won't? |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Yeah he visited them this weekend. And he was talking to Arizona too.
We're still the favorites to get him. But nothing is certain Rogers to San Fran is exactly where I thought he'd go. Let's see if he actually does Curious if anyone will make a bid on Brandon Carr |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
I just want to know how the Eagles are going to manage having Nnamdi, DRC and Asante Samuel all on their roster. All 3 are starter-caliber but one will have to come off the bench.
Going to be playing a ton of Nickel I guess. I'm guessing Samuel will be the odd man out, but he's too good to sit for too many plays. |
