Man we are wasting some time right?
I was thinking the same, but F it we got a TD & left them with very little time. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
The kickoff from the 40 yd like will be implemented for the 2012 season. LOL.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Finally--a competent kick.

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Why, because he's the only one you're seeing f*cking up out there? You didn't see Cofield get thrown around like a ragdoll? Or McIntosh get bulldozed over by Bradshaw?
sarcasm. reeeeeelax. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
It finally feels good to have good QB play.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Defense gave up over 200 yards in the first half -- Grossman and Hightower looking very competent
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
reed is leading in tackles and blown coverage lol
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Everything actually looked good in the 1st half except the front 4 on defense.. Or should I say 3. I wanna see more pressure. Even if it means we need to blitz more. Manning will throw it up for INT's if we pressure him. He's already shown he doesn't want to take a sack.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Half time, time for us to make TEAM adjustments.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Our pass rush must get better but I'm happy tied.. Usually they would be up 10
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
ok so all even so far...30 minutes to win! need more pressure on defense. offense i think is getting into a rhythm
|

Exactly...we have to put more pressure on him, that will make him start thinking about his throws and that dope will start throwing INTs |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
looks like were finally starting to look like a shanahan team.
solid offense, putrid defense. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Donovan SackNabb has thrown for 37 yards, 1 TD and 1 Int
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Cam Newton is BALLIN
|
Cam Newton is BALLIN
Yeah, he is having a great first career game |

But we weren't giving him a chance! |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
I would really like to see more blitzes this second half, we cannot let Eli sit in the pocket for 5 seconds, I don't care who is in the secondary they cannot hold up to that. Now get after him Defense!!!!
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Wow.. our Dline actually looks solid for the most part.. We have bottled up the oline like we are suppose to, but Rocky seems to get bettled up inside too and the NY Rb's are bouncing for positive yards.
Rocky has 4 missed tackles in the first half, and he was even backpedaling on one 2nd and 6 play that was a run. He's a huge liability atm and Eli seems to be checking at the line and running to his side more |

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
So far positives: Rex and Hightower playing really nice. The D played well except for the last drive of half and the one blown coverage by Reed
Negatives: Same old players f8cking up: Gano missing fieldgoals, Reed just horrible. Big drops by our receivers. Our D-Line getting limited pressure on Eli. |

And Cofield should be dominating the Giants' rookie center....but he's not. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Man, I am just getting a look at the scores and Buffalo crushed KC. Houston rolled over Indy but that was to be expected.

Many of the throws were quick passes. The best thing you can do against a good pass rush is get the ball away quickly. Anybody notice Ryan Kerrigan out in pass coverage? What's he doing out there? |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Adjustments will be the deciding factor, I think. Our O-Line is stiffening, hopefully they can take whatever the Giants throw at them in the 3rd quarter.

Well Coefield has been close to having 2 sacks, and he's not only getting blocked by the center. He's taking up space with the G's too. He's actually playing pretty well, but the Linebackers need to stop missing tackles. Fletcher had 4 missed tackles first half too.. He even missed Jacobs when he caught him in a run through lane backside and Jacobs had a huge gain. |

Would have been 10x better if we'd signed Barrett Ruud like I said... |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
2nd Half, GOOD TEAM EFFORT. Go SKINS.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Time for Atogwe to make a play
