Trade: Jets deal Jamal Adams and 4th-round pick in 2022 To Seattle, in exchange for Bradley McDougald (safety), 1st-round pick in 2021, 3rd-round pick in 2021, and 1st-round pick in 2022, source tells ESPN.
That is a haul NY got. Seattle must have seriously wanted him. I wouldn't bet against Carrol with dbacks, but that is a lot to give up. |

NBA is looking good with the bubble right now, if the Marlins breakout extends to other teams MLB is gonna be even more of a disaster than it already is. Would the Yankees really wanna play the Phillies after the Phillies just got done playing the Marlins? |
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
already postponed as well
|
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
He may be the best safety in the NFL but I do think Seattle will regret this. They gave up a TON for a player who just gave up on his team.
If you can get bored in NY, you can get bored in Seattle, especially if they're not winning. Carroll's run of success is on the decline. He and the Seahawks peaked years ago. |

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
So the Giants released their kicker for a drunk-driving hit-and-run without a valid driver's license and fleeing police. The right move.
Why haven't they released DAndre Baker for his armed robbery of thousands ($12K) of dollars and watches at gunpoint, and sloppy attempt to cover it up (with Dunbar)? In fact, they're letting him report to the team! Doubles standards. Are they more lenient with 1st-Round CBs than a kicker? Are there other reasons? Stubblefield, 49, was a first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in the 1993 NFL Draft. During his first five years with San Francisco, Stubblefield was named to the Pro Bowl three times, was a one-time first team All-Pro and also made the second team another year. The defensive tackle signed a lucrative deal with Washington in free agency in 1998, but his numbers significantly declined once arriving in the nation's capital. Stubblefield played three seasons for Washington before returning to San Francisco in 2000. |

I've noticed this with a few felons...if they spend a single year with us, the media shows them in a Redskin uniform or lists that first. Baushaud Breeland was arrested earlier this year. Dana article is from nbc sports Washington. Breeland article is from the 'redskins wire" but does use a photo of him in a chiefs uni. It makes sense for the local redskins media to include the players tie to the redskins. Did you notice the link you posted for Rambo is from a local georgia news outlet and its headline has him as a former Univ of Georgia player and not a skins player? gano must go!!! |
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
It's always amazed me how many former kickers we have spread across the league. :D
Gano, Forbath, Novak, Hall, Suisham, Rose, Cundiff. Looks like we found a keeper with Hopkins...saw him hit a game-winner in person last season and he's now 3rd in FGM in Redskins history only behind Moseley and Lohmiller. |
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Hopkins is pretty solid.
Just waiting to see someone suggest we should dump him for Gano. |
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
We may have the best kicker-punter duo in the NFL.
I'd say we definitely have the best punter. Led the league in average (just under 50 yds) last year, and he can throw the ball pretty well too. |

Wow - they may have the best TE combo in the league now. If Reed can stay healthy of course. Whereas the WFT .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Move makes sense, Shanny Jr. likes pursing ex-Redskins. Reed will have zero impact.
Trent, Alf Morris, Garcon, now Reed. Rumors were he was pursuing Cousins too. |
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Niners twitter thinks they are getting 2015 Reed lol good luck

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Worth a shot with Reed. Imagine the matchup nightmares with him and Kittle on the field.
|
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Over/Under on Reed landing on the IR .... 4.5 weeks.
He's so susceptible to concussions, if someone runs past him quickly, the wind will knock him out. He should've retired. He's risking turning into Muhammad Ali with any more concussions. |

This. At this stage I think he's gotta be high risk for CTE. All it takes is one POS defender targeting him and his season/career is at risk. Good luck to him though. |

Four reportedly shot at Beverly Hills party with ‘hundreds’ thrown for NFL player Four people have been critically wounded in a shooting at a Beverly Hills house party held for an NFL player, according to reports. The LAPD received a call about the large party on Mulholland Drive, near Franklin Canyon Park, about 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to the LA Times. A man who said he was working security for the party said it was being thrown for an unidentified NFL player, CBS Los Angeles reported. “We have money. We are people. This COVID, I mean, is just pushing us out everywhere, and we have nothing, so the only thing we do have is Airbnbs to rent swimming pools for our kids, to do big things and things of that nature,” security manager Kennie Leggett said. The company that manages the rental property said that it had advised the renters that the party was a serious breach of the rental agreement and asked them to vacate the property immediately, CBS Los Angeles reported. CBS LA correspondent Brittney Hopper reported that she was told by a guard that the party was being thrown for an NFL player. “We don’t know which player, we don’t know which team,” said Hopper, who described buses arriving with “hundreds of people.” One of the revelers said that “a bunch of gangsters came in and robbed everybody and started shooting,” The Sun reported. https://www.the-sun.com/news/1250019/beverly-hills-shooting-mansion-party-dead-wounded/ (^ DETAILED ACCOUNT!) |
