I also remember AOC pledging to primary and remove Jefferies from Congress as well. Saying that was a goal of hers. |

Sure if you want to go back to when she was speaker I was against her being speaker too and disappointed they caved. |

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
I wish more politicians actually voted their conscience, instead of going along to get along.
I haven't been following this closely, as I have no allegiance to McCarthy. So I don't know if people not voting for him are doing it for the right reasons or not. But if they genuinely do not believe that McCarthy should be speaker, then good on them. If I was a politician, the front page of my website would explain why I voted yes/no on anything that got called for a vote. And it would be me that typed it out myself. That would be the focus of my website so voters can get a clear explanation on my personal vote. |

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
Face it , the holdouts want to run(chair) certain Committees and that is the problem

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
I think the brilliant part here is being played by the Democrats. They are sitting back letting the GOP really ruin their own image. It's not like they can go back home and blame the Dems for this shit. This is squarely on the GOP. What a clown show. Even Hannity is saying it is.
