Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
Face it , the holdouts want to run(chair) certain Committees and that is the problem
Not only that, but they are wanting Kevin to throw out certain Dems on committees. That shit isn't going to fly, because as soon as the GOP lose the house again, the Dems will strip any GOP they want from a committee assignment. I imagine Kevin isn't going to sign on to something like that. |

Hopefully, he just lost on his 10 vote. It's not looking good. |
Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
This must be unprecedented. Didn't really register until seeing a clip of Maxine Waters being upset she actually had to work, that democrats have to keep voting too, for house speaker. I hope this goes to 100 attempts.

You consider this work for congress? I am surprised you are enjoying this. I thought you would be annoyed about politicians sitting around getting paid doing nothing for the country. |
Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
Progressives now putting their fingers in the their ears pretending in 2020 when they had the same leverage with Pelosi…they didn’t do the samething and simply got in line like the COWARDS they are.
It’s because they rather keep fundraising off the same lies, than actually do anything Maxine Waters…lol. Lives in a multi million dollar mansion, profiting of American tax payers while keeping her own constituents broke, desperate and most of all, dumb with her bullshit promises. Same democrat shithole with poor education, poverty and violence problems…their only solutions is to ask for more money to burn thru and never get results |

Well, when you put it this way, lol, it's not quite as enjoyable. But 99% of them don't do anything I want for this country when they are "doing something" anyways. |

That is true. I don't care if it takes them all year. I embrace chaos it makes me feel like I have some semblance of self control and maturity. |
Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
Personally I think it would be great if the dems went to McCarthy said we will give you the votes as long as no one from freedom caucus is ever allowed to chair a committee while he is house leader a big f you to a bunch of crazies

I was hoping Byron Donalds was gonna hold on. I really like how he explains the issues to the voters. He has a good disposition and is a do’er. |

15 time is the charm and he did give in to the Freedom Caucus. |
Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
By my count, this is Biden’s 60th trip to Delaware, spanning 192 days. Compares at same point in presidencies to:
Trump - 18 visits to Mar-a-Lago/79 days GWBush - 19 trips to his Texas ranch/141 days. |
