i just dont think rak is as good as people make him out to be. hes a good player, but not elite like a lot of people seem to think. thats my opinion.
I agree, but remember he's taking on the opposing team's best pass blocker on most plays... Kerrigan is not. |
Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
Man these refs are TERRIBLE

The refs are sucking today.

Kerrigan vs Columbo Orakpo vs Jake Long |

And that was the point with bringing in Kerrigan. If the blockers are occupied with Rak and Kerrigan is open, so be it. Once again, I don't know why our fans hate the idea of having two good players in one position. |
Kerrigan vs Columbo
Orakpo vs Jake Long
Well... Orakpo was on the TE that play.... ZERO pressure... just saying, |

so does demarcus ware and he lives in opponents' backfields. if orakpo wants to be considered elite, he needs to do the same with regularity. |

But this isn't about Orakpo, is about the defense making plays period. If this happens every game, so be it. In the end Orakpo alone doesn't win games, teamwork does. |
I'd give very serious consideration to trading Rak this offseason. Well, to be clear, I'd test the market with him and see what he might bring back potentially

I don't think he is elite. My point with those making the Kerrigan > Orakpo argument is simply that if you swapped sides, you might see swapped results as well. That's all. |

With the new CBA, it sure as hell wouldn't be a 1st rd pick. |
Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
AWFUL on 3rd downs today though... seriously... bad.

Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
Man. Barnes blows again.

Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
i dont have a problem with using 1st and 2nd round picks on guys who get at or protect the qb.
orakpo has rom to improve but hes got time too. hopefully when we are contending in 2-3 years he will be at his peak making plays. |
