You are not thinking of it from the point of view of your fellow Warpathers. Why should we trust anything you say if you don't provide corroboration? And if you've already read the story, why not supply the link rather than making the rest of us google?
No one else here has trouble with this concept.
You could say that about anyone on this site. Again if something is old news should I assume you all have seen it since theres always people putting up articles to the minute here. |

I do not know how much good advice Grossman can give any player... This is how you drop the snap during a super bowl. He would give great advice for that I suppose. |

Lol @ Gryphon. |

Yeah exactly people all the sudden are going nuts over sources all of a sudden once smoot left. He by the way never provided sources. We were told one thing about him "he has great sources" but were never told anything more. I feel like I'm in Oz right now (not the prison show) |
lol I think people just want legit sites. You can't say I heard my cousin's nephew's boyfriend's sister's wife say we just signed so and so. I swear it's true. He rubs Goodell's feet on the weekend.
Unless you're Smoot. Then that's okay. He's legit.
Edit: That would be Rex Ryan, not Roger Goodell. |
Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
Chris Canty to the Ravens (IAN RAPAPORT, ALBERT BREER, NFLDRAFTSCOUT, ME, PICK 1 ANYONE AND YOU WIN)

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
SS did cite sources. maybe not to you.
but it was clear what was his opinion and what wasn't. you make wrong predictions all the time, and they look pretty much the same as your uncited reports. It's part of why i normally skip over your posts. feel free to do as you please though. |

I'm more likely to trust the guy at ESPN with ESPN insiders than Joe Schmo's random Redskins blog. If it's not a well known site (Bleacher Report, PFT, obvious newssites) or a well known person with connects Schefter, Glazer, Smoot, I just wait til the definite link comes out. Otherwise it's just hearsay and you've got a bunch of rumors flying about causing unnecessary confusion. |
Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
Come on folks stop acting like babies and talk some football.
Just post a source, that's not too much to ask is it? |

My opinions are clear, show me when they're not (wait you can't cause you don't look over them!) |
Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
So, how did the Ravens afford Canty but could not seem to keep any of their key guys. I still think the Ravens squeeze into the playoffs though, unlike the G-men this year, but they will lose in the first round.

I'm not even a Ravens fan but I'm butthurt about them letting go Boldin. That move irritates me to no end. Dude was clutch for them in the playoffs. |

The ravens went out and got a guy at a position that wasn't even a need. Meanwhile they have no starting MLBs with Lewis retiring, Ellerbe leaving and McClain with a bad neck. |

Lewis retired, the successor left, obviously Boldin got traded, looks like Reed is going to leave. I still think the best GM in football in my opinion has some tricks up his sleeve but I do not see a bright future for that team. Especially with Suggs getting old and having injury problems. |

Exactly, you use free agency to fill some needs and add depth, but like I said in my previous post, Newsome is one of those guys who usually figures it out. |
