Re: Draft talk round 1
This is very true. And I completely agree, the first round probably couldn't have played out better for us than it did.
Especially with Dallas' pick! |

Jerry is taking more heat. Love it. |
Re: Draft talk round 1
Outside of elite talent like Alex Mack, you do NOT draft a center in Round 1!
Even the best ones usually stay on the board until Round 3. Jerry Jones is the gift that keeps on giving. Also, I was talking to a Raiders fan I work eith earlier this morning and I told him Al Davis is still calling the shots from the grave...a DB whose heart was literally ripped to pieces and almost died on the field...who could die if hit hard enough (say the docs)? Nice, Oakland...you've earned your reputation! |
I'm glad to see Barkley falling down the board. He rubbed me wrong last year when he said he would've been the #2 pick last year had he entered. RGIII was there & he wasn't going #2.

Re: Draft talk round 1
No one should ever draft a USC QB....ever. Maybe the league has finally caught on.
I hope Philly takes the bust. Since fellow Pac-12er Chip Kelly is familiar with him...who knows? |

^Fine with me, the kid isn't used to calling plays.
Speaking of Geno...his little tantrum "I'm not coming tomorrow!" after not getting picked in Round 1 doesn't help his draft stock. He looks like a petulant child. It's the draft. He WILL get picked early in Round 2. Get up on the stage and look happy to be a pro now. It's a once in a lifetime experience that you've worked your whole life for and you're going to miss it because things didn't get handed to you in the way you wanted it? Grow up. Re: Draft talk round 1
I didn't watch any of the cowboys webcam, but i skimmed their forum, and their fans were just ridiculing the cowboys draft room.

Re: Draft talk round 1
I would say our first round pick that we would have had this year was used to let the whole draft know we have a better QB than any other player in the draft and watching our rival pick third rounders. Id say that's a first rounder well spent.

I hope that Jerry and Stephen Jones have very long lives.
Not thinking it's a stellar pick, but, their OL was awful last year, so if this helps them protect Romo, then it might work for them. And the saddest part is we probably won't get any more of this :(
(snip awesome vidoes of romo miscues) oh wait they still have Romo so maybe we will :)
I "loved" how after one game against us, the cowgirls and some of their idiot fans accused Redskin players of deliberately interfering with their snap counts by talking during the snap. And no replay showed the Skins doing anything wrong, lol. Same kind of folks that think Seattle put grease on the ball that Romo mishandled in that FG attempt awhile back, I guess. |
Re: Draft talk round 1
I think with Cyprien taken so early, Swearinger will be gone when we are up. i will kill someone if he goes to the cowboys

I hope Philly takes the bust. Since fellow Pac-12er Chip Kelly is familiar with him...who knows?
Damn, it's like Christmas to me! Philly is screwed at QB. I really think Vick might win the camp battle over the two young QBs. If Kelly wants to run HIS offense, Vick is the way to go. If he's going to hold to all of his recent talk about fitting the offense to his personnel, well, he's going to be running a boring offense. |
