Sounds like he was owning that mistake to me. Ideally he shouldn't have brought up anything that could be viewed as a criticism of the coaches or play calling. But on the other hand he's frustrated just like everyone else and sometimes you say shit you shouldn't. He's not the first guy to do it. I think people need to take a step back and realize he's a 2nd year QB and a 23 year old guy. He's figuring things out as he goes, on and off the field. It always amazes me how as a society we love to build people up and in the next breath break them back down.
Spot on Matt! The guy is still a kid for heaven's sake. None of us had it all figured out at 23. RGIII is no different. He's a young pup. He'll figure it all out soon enough and all of this negativity will go away. |

I have to say that I lost a lot of respect for Griffin over his press conference following the Eagles game. The true character of a person is shown at his worst time, and this is what we get? A immature brat that threw his coaches under the bus and didn't own up to his shitty game he had?
They were saying the same things about Cam last season. Shannahan needs to face up to teh fact that he has to improve. ST suck, defense sucks, everything sucks. |
Griff is missing alot of throws this year, missed a ton Sunday. Including the one to Paulsen. I dont care what parts of anyones body were in his face. That being said, once again I will plead ....do not compare him to JC.
.....and good call on "over hyped" JC. Lmao. First I ever heard of him being hyped or overhyped or anyhyped also.
Once again. Paulson quit on the route. |

Also, realize that Loverro is a troll whose schtick is to be anti whatever is popular. He's the same as Rick Snider was at the Examiner, basically paid to be the foil to keep conversation going. His whole thing calling RG3 'SuperBob' is an intentional insult to be in a position of criticism when he's right and condescension when he's wrong. |
Re: skins eagles postgame
Yeah the SuperBob stuff is just childish. I sure wish I got paid to offer up lame stuff like that.
|
Re: skins eagles postgame
CAM NEWTON!!! Remember last year how this board dogged him and wrote him off. RG3 will be fine. These clowns trying to destroy him, but Shannahan is horrible. Shanny might be tapped out. We have 6 more games to see.

Exactly, reeks of envy. |
Re: skins eagles postgame
Would also like to add thay on the sack fumble... Reed runs the wrong route and would of been wide open for a quick TD. Was a good play call but bad execution.
That is why I said. " we just played a bad game all around". To many things going wrong for this team and not enough fingers.
The sack fumble could've been avoided if Helu makes a block on his defender giving Griffin more than 1 second. Perhaps I am spoiled reminiscing of Portis and his blocking.... |
Sounds like he was owning that mistake to me.
How about the other balls that sailed over receivers hands? The bomb he overthrew Robinson on that would have tied up the game? How about the fumble where he held the ball too long? (yes, I know Helu half assed the block) It was more than just that one throw.
Ideally he shouldn't have brought up anything that could be viewed as a criticism of the coaches or play calling. It always amazes me how as a society we love to build people up and in the next breath break them back down.
He's not the first because Cam Newton did the exact same thing last year, after he blew a chance to win a game by throwing a ball in the dirt with Olsen wide open in the end zone. Needless to say, Cam got raked across the coals and rightfully so. Tell me, do you hear any flap from Luck? Tannehill? Wilson? Any of them? This young excuse is just that. An excuse. Time for Robert to put on the big boy pants and suck it up. He wants the fame, the glory, the commercials, but also wants to deflect the blame. Fuck that. Take the heat. Yes, I do agree with him about the play calling and yes I'm ready for Kyle and several other coaches to move on. However, you aren't going to endear yourself to the fans, public, or any future coaches by saying the stuff he's said over the coarse of the past year. You'd thought he'd learn from the whole kneegate issue, and the crap over the training camp. It's not hard to just shut the fuck up. Really, it's not. |
Re: skins eagles postgame
RG3 had a terrible game Sunday no doubt but he still had almost 300 yards and 2 tds.. That is a great game for R Wilson though

Not me... I have said since day 1 he will be a stud, I'd take him today over Kaep and Wilson for the next 10 years |

I don't think R Wilson could hold Robert's jock strap. Give Robert that defense and put Wilson on this team and lets see the results. Defense goes a long way.
One day he's a hero next he's a problem that's how it sounds like around here
No, I don't think he's the problem around here, but he does contribute to it. My only beef is with his constant babbling to the media where he needs to really shut the hell up. |
Re: skins eagles postgame
I don't know. Sounds like RG3 was praising the eagles, more than bashing the coaches. lol. I guess people just want to see the evil.

Re: skins eagles postgame
Not calling you out NC I was speaking as in general and I agree with u about Wilson, again for the 1 millionth time, I like RW as a QB but dude is never asked to do anything like RG3 or Luck is asked to do.
