Re: 34th Overall Pick
Here's a mock draft i did on fanspeak. I think it turned out pretty well. I'd be ecstatic if we ended up with these players.
34 S HA’SEAN CLINTON-DIX, ALABAMA 66 ILB CHRISTIAN JONES, FLORIDA STATE 98 WR MARTAVIS BRYANT, CLEMSON 130 OT SEANTREL HENDERSON, MIAMI 162 RB DE’ANTHONY THOMAS, OREGON 194 TE COLT LYERLA, OREGON Fanspeak's On the Clock Mock Draft Simulator |

Like to see us go D-Line there with your other picks. |

Yeah i was really hoping that Stephon Tuitt would fall to pick number 34 but he didnt so i just went with the BPA at a position of need. I doubt Clinton-Dix falls that far anyway. |
Re: 34th Overall Pick
It's also predicated on the idea that De'Anthony Thomas would be playing much more slot receiver than running back.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
Morgan Moses may be a great pick to solidify the offensive line at 34.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
I'm not sure about drafting a rookie to play safety again, however I would not mind if we sign a vet FS and draft Deone Bucannon to see if he could beat out Phillip Thomas for SS spot. We need a safety who can put fear into receivers, we saw how big difference that made for our defense when we had Sean Taylor on field. Bucannon might have the potential to do that.
Heck, yeah. If he's is available in the 3rd, that's a must-take. He's a huge hitter and makes big plays. Deone Bucannon would be an excellent pick. |
Re: 34th Overall Pick
I think we should take Jason Verrett at 34

I really doubt he will still be on the board at 34. Need a backup plan to that. I'm back to db. Assuming it's a first round grade and rather than RT. Just because I think it's more likely there will be offensive linemen that are available and comparable in the 3rd - with what's available with the 34th pick. |
Re: 34th Overall Pick
Do you think Roby would be available?

Don't know. Haven't seen him play yet. I gotta answer you back after. |
Re: 34th Overall Pick
I'm gonna get a lot of flak, but oh well - I think Bucannon might be a good pick at 34.

Maybe , great athlete but he did get beat a few times . The good news , there will be some talented guys at OL , DL, DB at 34 . DL should be addressed in this draft , we have 4 over 30 and 2 with an ACL . I really hope that our 2nd and 3rd rd picks have an impact this season . |

Would be happy with Dix and Jones ! |

Just saw him in videos from some games in 2013 and he looked terrible. In a lot of reports, it says he had a much better 2012. But why should I go back to 2012 when he looked like crap in 2013. I wouldn't want him with the 34 pick even if he's still available. |
