The last two episodes have ended on crazy notes and I can't wait for next week's episode. I definitely understand why they felt confident announcing the second season after the first episode.

Can't wait... I've been trying my best to stay away from the forums because I know a lot of people have read the books. I really dig how each character gets revealed as the show progresses.

I'm watching the Office. Because when I was board in my hotel room on my last trip to DC it was the only thing on and since then I've gotten hooked after years of thinking it was stupid. Either way if you're going to start watching a show the best time is after it has a handful of seasons under its belt.

Here's an update. I think the "at this time" part is key, meaning they probably are in discussions. Both NBC and SyFy being owned by NBCUniversal certainly helps

I am enjoying Game of Thrones. I wonder how long the series will go? I typically try to read books after seeing the movies or show so I am not disappointed. Look forward to the next season.

I'm also looking forward to the season premiere of True Blood this Sunday :)

Such a great show. Anyone catch the season premiere of Sons of Anarchy tonight? Those last 10 minutes were pretty gnarly.

Who's excited about the upcoming fall lineup? Just saw SOA's season 4 premiere tonight, and it's got me excited about the season even though I thought it didn't have that it factor going for it that the finale for season 3 had. I guess I just enjoyed the end to season 3 so much that I was due for a letdown, even if it was slight.

Plus I'm excited to see the series finale for Rescue Me tomorrow night. It's kinda weird that I just got into the show during the last season, but honestly I'm only half interested in it right now. Mainly because the only part of the show that interests me is the firefighting aspect, and the things that go on inside the crew. It might be just me but I get tired of the Gavin family aspect of things, mainly the alcoholism, bed hopping, crazy shit, etc. that continually plagues the family, and the whole "blame everything on Tommy" mentality going on there even though the blame should be equally shared. In the second to last episode, the wedding was okay but for me it was all about the fire at the end of the episode that is inevitably going to end up killing at least 1 or possibly 2 members of 62 Truck. Either way, I'm not going to be terribly disappointed that the show is ending, mainly because the firefighter side has always been just one side of the story, and that's the only side I'm interested in.

Niiice, beat me to it. I've been watching SOA since the first season, I've always loved the show but I feel like the first episode of season 4 wasn't as great as the ending to season 3. I guess it's just because I really enjoyed seeing Agent Stahl and Jimmy meet their makers in a brilliant plan and then saw what the future held with the letters from Jax's dad to Maureen Ashby. And I hoped to see a little more of the life in prison aspect for the 14 months the SOA members were inside.

Either way the end to the episode was semi-suprising, I didn't expect to see them kill all the Russians like that, even though you could tell that's where it was headed from the discussions at the clubhouse. It does feel like the same problems are recurring again, what with the AUSDA guy trying to bring down the club on RICO charges, a hostile sheriff in town, and forces beyond their control that are just as smart as the club is. It'll be interesting to see what direction the show is headed. Personally I don't think Jax's plan to get him and his family out of the club will work without bloodshed of some kind occuring. I also felt like I could see some foreshadowing of the club's demise occuring, but with the twists in the plots of today's television we'll probably never know until it happens.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

Very few season finales have ever been as batshit epic as season 3 of SOA, but I agree about feeling like it's some of the same style roadblocks that they r put up against. This show's writing is great so I'll trust that they know what they r doing until proven otherwise haha. And I think someone super important is gonna eat it this season, just after that curveball last year I can't even imagine who it could be.

I need to start watching Sons Anarchy, I think I started it but got side tracked. I am really not a big TV fan but some shows peak my interest.

This show looks pretty good coming up on FX.

Also Archer is some pretty funny shit too!

I just finish watching all four series (not today) of Mad Men! I have to say, probably the best TV show I've ever watched. Maybe The Wire edges it out. But Mad Men is well done top to bottom.

I've never watched Archer before I caught that episode about the blimp the other night, and I was pleasantly suprised. It was actually really hilarious, so I set it up on the DVR. And I've been watching Louie for the last couple seasons now, that show is definitely hilarious. It's pretty hard to pull off a comedy show about the life of a comedian, but he does it, and he does it well. The way his show is set up just transcends modern tv. It makes you feel like you're in his life. In between Sons of Anarchy, Justified, Louie, Archer, and It's Always Sunny I feel like I'm digging FX's lineup more and more each year.

Yeah, I like the dumb drama with those morons. The show gets good ratings so I'm not the only one I guess. One of my buddies was always talking about it, one Friday or Saturday night there was a marathon on so I checked it out and was hooked.

Anybody else watch the series finale for Rescue Me last night? I just got into Rescue Me before the start of the final season, I had kept up with it off and on through the years but as I said earlier the only aspect of the show that really interests me is the firefighting side, Idgaf about Denis Leary's family aspect side of it because all that's about is him taking shit from the rest of his family for being a drunk selfish asshole.

I don't want to spoil anything for anybody who hasn't seen the final episode yet but I thought it was okay. It could've done without the fake me out twists at the beginning of the episode, I mean one was okay but multiple just felt like overkill. I also didn't like the scene about Janet giving birth inside the house, it felt rushed and overdone. I mean that had to be the quickest baby to ever pop out at the rate they went. They didn't even get a sign with the water breaking or anything. They didn't even have time to put a pot of boiling water on the stove lol. The ending was good, with Tommy and Franco giving the speech to the probies, and Tommy talking to Lou's ghost in the car. It appears Lou's letter brought the whole team back together after everyone was considering splitting up, not that it matters since the show is over.

Now that the show is done I'll have time to go back and watch the first 4 seasons. I'm caught up on season 5-7 but only paid sporadic attention to the first 4 over the years.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

I watched Rescue ME for awhile and gave up on it, then I was surprised to find out it was still on this season, i know the last one though.

It seemed like the same storyline over and over. Tommy gets drunk, Tommy cries about 9/11, Tommy talks to dead people, Tommy fights with family, Tommy gets drunk, Tommy cries about 9/11....

Can you see the pattern? Now stretch that out over 7 seasons, yawn. Two seasons it is good.

I use to say to my wife no one has that much drama in their life even someone on TV doesn't.

I didn't think season 7 was that great either, except for the part about the coke slut reporter getting her comeuppance lol. The wedding at the end of season 7 was okay, and the final episode was good, but other than that it was hit or miss.

Anybody watch the Roast of Charlie Sheen tonight? Hilarious as usual, although I was disappointed Lisa Lampanelli and Whitney Cummings weren't there. Everybody was pretty solid this time around though so it wasn't that big of a deal. And Charlie Sheen gave one of the best roasts there, which is pretty uncommon for the roastee.

Also season premier of Workaholics and late-season premiere of Tosh.0 tomorrow, in addition to another new episode of Sons of Anarchy. Niiice :D

Watched the first half of CS roast, favorite jokes:

Jon Lovitz: How much blow can Charlie do? Enough to kill 2 1/2 men.

Jeff Ross: Brooke Mueller, Charlie's x-wife is here tonite. She's not too bright unless Charlie is throwing a lamp at her.

Ross: Anyone seen Charlies Porn star actress Bree Olsen's latest movie? Good lord, I havent seen that many men coming outta of a hole since the Chilean Mine Rescue.

Ross on Mike Tyson: Mike what is that tattoo suppose to be, a target for pepper spray?

Anybody watch the late-season premiere of South Park tonight? I guess it answered the questions left behind from "You're Getting Old." If there's one thing nice about it it's good that it's not settling into the same old routine like the Simpsons.
