I spent 2 days in the National Archives looking for the original copy of this Law Enforcement manual that some defense expert was relying upon. I think I had a DC federal judges order with me giving me permission

This was in the late 90s pre internet as we know it now.

Day 2 finally found someone helpful and we went to the back back area ... HUGE warehouse rooms with collapasable/foldable accordian style shelves that were 15 feet high

Every book, every manual, every manual of a manual was there

there was dust and it felt like some scene from a movie

Found it in nick of time and had to speed back to court

The records, which were taken into FBI custody, "appear to be a small number of documents bearing classified markings that were inadvertently boxed and transported to the personal home of the former vice president at the end of the last administration," Pence's lawyer, Greg Jacob, wrote in a letter to the National Archives shared with The Associated Press.

He said that Pence had been "unaware of the existence of sensitive or classified documents at his personal residence” until a search last week and “understands the high importance of protecting sensitive and classified information and stands ready and willing to cooperate fully with the National Archives and any appropriate inquiry.”

Pence told the Associated Press in August that he did not take any classified information with him when he left office.

Asked directly if he had retained any such information, he said, “No, not to my knowledge.”

Are these documents like things that were stamped "classified" for purposes when they were created but now hold no significance?

Like their daily travel itinerary for some random day in 2017 or something.

I understand its classified so they probably cant say but it seems like with Pence and Biden it was inadvertent and not some nuclear codes or blueprints to a secret nuclear lair.

Glad to see some familiar faces back! What happened?

Sitting President attempted to covered up his own mishandling of classified docs, some which went back to when he was senator, until ABC news caught them red handed.

I guess he would have continued to cover it up until when?

The bad thing is that the shooter in 2014 was convicted of forcible entry that resulted in 2 murders (and given his conduct last month was probably the shooter then too). Reminds me of that Gerrard Butler and Jamie Fox movie where Fox makes a deal to let the primary killer go in order to get a conviction on his partner.
