Solid lead. Though he potentially has some better opportunities than line coach for the Redskins.

Add Tim Krumrie-DL to your list of possibilities too

Will do. Just realized that you were the one that posted about Jagodzinski to begin with so I guess I should know better by now.

Also to answer the previous question concerning Richard Mann
Mann has had the opportunity to coach some of the game’s top receivers, including Tim Brown, Antonio Bryant, Mark Clayton, Joey Galloway, Ike Hilliard, Keyshawn Johnson, Keenan McCardell, Rob Moore, Andre Rison, Webster Slaughter and Pro Football Hall of Fame TE Ozzie Newsome.

Under Mann’s direction, the Buccaneers have produced a 1,000-yard receiver in every one of his seven seasons on the Tampa Bay sideline, easily the longest stretch in franchise history. Mann’s 1,000-yard pupil in 2008 was Bryant, who joined the Buccaneers as a free agent prior to the season. He finished the year leading the team with 83 receptions for 1,248 yards and seven touchdowns while earning The Sporting News Comeback Player of the Year award.

Alright so if I understand it, this is how the Skin's coaching staff is shaping up. Still they weren't kidding when they said they were going to find and assemble the best coaching staff they could.

Head Coach: Mike Shanahan
Offensive Coordinator: Kyle Shanahan
Defensive Coordinator: Jim Haslet
Special Teams Coordinator: Possibly Bobby April or Danny Smith

QB's: Chris Meidt (Holdover form previous regime)
RB's: Bobby Turner (Also will serve as Associate Head Coach)
WR's: Richard Mann
TE's: Possibly Scott Wachenheim
OL: Possibly Jeff Jagodzinski

LB's:Lou Spanos
DL: Possibly Mike Waufle or Tim Krumrie
DB's: Bob Slowick (There will probably be another coach specializing in safeties or corners)
If he has learned directly under Gibbs, I want to see if could fit. Especially since the two best coaches for that scheme have gone elsewhere.
What going on Mike Waufle hope we hire him. That would be the ultimate spit in the face of the Giants.

Re: Coaching Staff update

A) Why was Waufle Fired?
B) I really like the hire of the Pittsburgh LB Coach as our LB coach, more than I like the hire of Jim Haslett
C) Is it 100% definite that we will be running the 3-4 this year. Also I wanted to add in that I was watching Inside the NFL tonight, and they had Junior Seau on talking to Warren Sapp. Sapp asks Seau "3-4 or 4-3?" ...seau said 3-4, and he has more experience in the 4-3 than the 3-4. Now thats saying something, if you ask me.

I also hope Slowick replaces Jackson I feel his coaching jacked up ST until he stopped listening to him and has messed up LL as well. we keep gray as the secondary coach
actually i have my doubts about whether the first moon landing was legit or not. i've read very very strong arguments both ways. It certainly COULD have been faked, but that doesn't necessarily mean it didnt happen.

I do think the whole global warming thing is somewhat of a conspiracy, though. ;)
Do you watch Jesse Ventura's new show? Conspiracy Therory with Jesse Ventura...

JLC is reporting that the Seahawks interviewed or will interview Jerry Gray for their DC job

I think he's a good choice. Guy definitely deserves another shot as a DC, just maybe coaching here wasn't the best fit.

I was thinking the same thing earlier. This has a completely different feel than any that I can recall. Schottenheimer had some good assistants (son Brian) and some bad (Jimmy Raye), Spurrier had a jumbled mess with the exception of Marvin Lewis for one year (George Edwards anyone?), Gibbs didn't inspire any confidence with the Grumpy Old Men (seriously, Rennie Simmons and Jack Burns) and let's not even discuss the Zorn assistants process.

Shanny is clearly building an organization with a plan in place to build around a scheme rather than hodge-podging guys together. I love the pairing of Haslett and Spanos in being able to teach and coach the guys the same way.

I'd prefer April to another year of Danny Smith but JLC is reporting we didn't allow him to interview for other positions so he'll likely be back.

The assembly of the coaching staff is shaping up much better than it did for Zorn...seriously, to come in with the coaching staff already essentially in place? what did we really expect...

Now we know who the man of the house is and he is making sure it looks just the way he wants...as long as Snyder keeps the coaches' salaries under control, I'm liking the decisions

why does this matter to you? are you helping Snyder pay these guys?

Re: Coaching Staff update

Not a ton to add. I really like the direction of the coaching staff. I wanted Zimmer, but switching to the 3-4 probably wouldn't have been something he would've wanted to do again. I'm fired up about Spanos and Turner and really really like the Shanahans running the O.

Pretty pleased with the way this whole thing has gone so far.

I'd love to see April, but if that doesn't happen, I'd prefer to get rid of Danny Smith. I could live with Smith, however.
