Andy Reid always joked that the smartest players in football were offensive lineman.

Tryon with solid tackling. Nice.

Banks pulled an ARE there.

Perry Riley is playing well although mismatched against a WR on a first down conversion. Haynesworth is use to mixing it up. How can he refrain from use his spin moves? Solid coverage and tackle by Tryon. Where's Barnes?

Just rookie nerves. Too bad ARE is one too many years old to make that excuse.

I haven't been paying attention to Heyer, but a few people said he was our second best lineman. Anyone else concur with this observation.

I think the lineman did a good job there pushing Haynesworth's spin to the inside. I'm curious to know what the technique is for 3-4 DEs in regards to spins and whatnot.

So Beck plays the whole 2nd half?

Oh I agree. He's looked good in punt returns though (Banks that is) I hope we find a way to keep him.

A certain Mr. Kelly. If we wanna be a Super Bowl team, all facets need to be in top shape, including special teams.

He tends to give bad body language too...frustrated. Its just the first game, but dude needs to play better.

Couple observations on Offense...1.Oline protected well. Kudos across the board. 2. Torrain really seemed to run harder than Portis in the first half. 3. Took alot of heart by Armstrong to get that ball across the goaline...does Kelly or Thomas make that play?
