Re: Redskins Final Cuts
I understand, but say you are down by a TD and get the ball back with only 20 seconds left. No time to have any RBs in the backfield, you need wideouts. Also, what if you get into a shootout with say the Giants or the Rams, etc and someone gets popped? If you got the weapons use them. Odds are none of these things will come to pass, but you never know. Be prepared is the best policy.
You have banks line up with the other 4 Wrs |
If we do see you in the post season I pray it is at Fedex. I am from Allen Park, the home of the Lions, and the last two times we played you at Frod Field we lost, and looked horrible. I got heckled walking around Greektown in my Skins Jersey the day the Lions snapped their losing streak against us.
True -- When KVB and Suh converged on Grossman for a sack/fumble/scoop-and-score after Shannie decided to yank a healthy D McNab -- that was nice. The Skins have not enjoyed their recent trips to Ford Field much. But I was at the game at FedEx (season opener I believe of 09 or 10) to see the Skins pummle the Lions. Sat there with my wife wearing my Lions cap and got trash talked all day. It was a hot day, too. Skins grounded and pounded the hell out of us with Clinton Portis. |

No big whoop. A Vinny pick -- a special teamer, if he made more plays they would have kept him. |
Re: Redskins Final Cuts
New Depth Chart is out..
Has Paul over Hankerson, and Helu over Torain... |
New Depth Chart is out..
Has Paul over Hankerson, and Helu over Torain...
I like Helu and Hightower over ATV. Those guys put in the work in training camp and pgames. They add speed and elusiveness to our backfield, and both add a little more than ATV. |
Re: Redskins Final Cuts
Here is the link:
Redskins.com | Depth Chart talk about thin at Guard... Eric Cook is listed as backup for both guards and the center. geez |
Re: Redskins Final Cuts
The good thing is all 3 interior starters are versatile and can all play guard or center.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
New Depth Chart is out..
Has Paul over Hankerson, and Helu over Torain...
Helu is the most "skilled" of our RBs and is a threat even with limited action, as he showed in his 1 or two carries against Pitt. You can see his fluid agility. You can see his elite speed. |
Re: Redskins Final Cuts
And apparently we are keeping 16 wide receivers.
That's some funny **** right there! |
I wonder how many receivers we will dress on game day. I'm thinking just 4 (not including banks).
Hankerson reported to be inactive Week 1. Paul will be active due to his ST contributions. Re: Redskins Final Cuts
Really surprise no move of one of the vet WR to grab a pick or depth at OL. Thought maybe we see that by now since the cuts. I dont have the same faith in our depth at the interior oline positions I had last year.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
We'll probably see some moves after week one
