No doubt, dude is a lock at ILB. But he needs another young guy to compliment him. No way Fletch comes back after this season. Dude needs to hang it up and probably should've after last season. But he is kinda the best we have for now. At least we have some vet leadership.

Yep Oki, its in full effect.

We beat ourselves plan and simple, all the great things we did last year we did poorly yesterday. Mainly not taking care of the football and losing the field position battle.

Fletcher really struggled last night...as did Bowen, Cofield, Baker and the safeties. Time to put this one to bed and get ready for Green Bay.

In 2007 the Giants looked awful in weeks one and two. They proceeded to win the Super Bowl.

We have problems but it is just one game.

Cause RG3 as been talked about as much as any athlete this summer. I could see where that would annoy some fans and make them hate the redskins. Similar to Tom Brady/patriots or lebron James/heat.

The team looked better, not just RG3.

Some of it was adjustments, some of it was knocking off some rust and some of it was simply pulling their head out of their collective asses.

I don't believe Philly took their foot off the gas, we simply adjusted to what they were doing and started playing better...albeit too late.

It was stupid.[/quote]I do think there's value in the NFL to having a guy who can adjust your defense on the fly and keep you out of bad defensive calls. And we're not going to go against McCoy every week, meaning Fletcher might actually tackle a running back this year.

But man, he's pretty close to finished.

I'm not worried about a thing. I expect to see alot more of the second half type of play than the first this season. We had a couple of turnovers and things went south. But this team isn't made up of quitters. We came back from a big hole and almost won the damn thing. Robert and the rest of the team are only gonna get better. We get Keenan Robinson back next year and I think he's gonna be a hell of a player.

3-6 last year and still won the east.
