As a 20 year-old he could be a married father or a soldier in combat, so please don't call him a kid either. He is a young man who, as an adult, is responsible for his own actions.
Yeah I agree. Trouble seems to be following him around and usually where there's smoke, there's fire. He seems like a very immature 20 year old. If this is happening in college then what's he going to act like with millions? Well, at least he'll be able to afford crab legs! |

It does not matter because he is that good. If he was on the bubble that would do him in. He is too good, shop lifting is not big enough to derail him. |

Really hope they lock him up long term next year. |

I want them both resigned long term. Orakpo is an elite pass rusher, while Kerrigan is a great pass rusher and a great all-around OLB. Together, they make a sexy QB-destroying duo, and if Haslett wants our defense built around a rush, then we need to lock both up long term. Resign them, continue to draft more Brandon Jenkins', and over the next few drafts get some more great pass rushers for the DL. Creating holes where we could be great is not the correct way to do business. We need to strengthen our pass rush in every draft rather than rebuild it. |

On a different topic, but Hatcher makes some very interesting comments in this article by Tandler.

Agreed. If he was in the draft this year he'd be the number one pick. |

Dallas can get Manziel but they are gonna to have to do a rebuild. They have WRs that's it.

And a Hall of Fame TE, a stud(albeit old) QB, a stud LT, a soon-to-be stud C, and an 1100 yard rusher. That defense, though... |

But I guess we have to wait and see.
Hatcher was impressed with how things are done under new coach Jay Gruden. “They really take care of the veteran guys. They give us more say-so over the team. This is our team,” he said. “The head coach doesn’t want to be policing the team. This is our team, so when we set the foundation for this football team, the way it’s supposed to go, that’s the way it’s supposed to go, through the players and not the coaches. It’s a players team, so whatever we say goes, pretty much, if it’s going in the right direction.”
The first bold is worrisome, because I think we have seen in Miami and other cases where that does not work well. The second bold is the part I hope means that Gruden has given more guidelines than Hatcher seems to be implying. |

Witten I don't count, he might have one more year. |

I think Hatcher is just seeing a more relaxed player focused atmosphere here vs Dallas, where I assume it's a super tight ship with Jerry looking over everyone's shoulder. |

But Hatcher makes it sound like someone in Dallas was running the team too closely, and this is a change he approves of. We'll see. I wonder what all this veteran say-so entails. What does Hatcher mean when he says, "This is our team, so when we set the foundation for this football team that's the way it's supposed to go, through the players and not the coaches?" |
