I know this is getting off topic, but what will and what should happen with Ryan? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
maybe extend him...put him in a 4-3 alignment with hand in dirt alongside Matty I, Daron, and Allen. Have Hamilton and Anderson as OLBs with the Zach Bown Band playing MLB. |
Re: D.J. Swearinger released
I’d shop Kerrigan to be honest, love the guy but I’d go full rebuild mode given the QB situation and start selling off assets

If it's looking like you need to do something at QB then consider moving him for a pick to get him off your salary cap so you can sign Bridgewater or something. |

I have zero hope in it actually happening though. Even though now is the perfect time while expectations are rock bottom. Instead I know we're going to slap some more lipstick on this pig and try to keep selling hope to a fan base that is rotting away. |
A safety who takes bad angles to the ball carrier doesn't fit any scheme.
Monte Nicholson was outright horrible this year...HaHa is a scapegoat here and that's fine, but he's played better Monte like it or not.
No way. HAHA was worse. Montae aint that good or anything but HAHA was fucking terrible. |

I agree....check Preston Smith's career stats....he hasn't totalled a double digit sack season in 4 years....let him walk and draft either Landris Durham from Texas A&M or Carl Granderson from Wyoming in the draft....they both should day 2 picks but they are excellent pass rushers. |
Re: D.J. Swearinger released
This is old news but it's that time of year.
On JP Finlay's podcast dated 5-2-19, Sundberg, the long snapper makes an appearance. In the first 10 minutes of the pod, the conversation turns to how the team chooses the captains. DJ Swearinger's claim that his team mates voted him captain and then management stripped him of the "C". Sundberg says he doesn't think that happens and says he was listening to Grant and Danny when DJ actually called in and was live on the radio discussing his release. Sundberg went on to say he wanted to text or call into the show to say DJ was full of crap. Again, old news at this point, but I thought it was interesting on the long swim to training camp. |

I loved the Sundberg interview. Dude was funny as hell and pretty straight up with JP. He also confirmed what many fans seem to ignore about Alex's leadership and how it was such huge loss to the team when it he went down. Interesting how Captain Kurt didn't come up in the conversation when they were talking about QB leadership. I hope JP asks him about this if/when they do follow up podcast (which needs to happen!) |
