Ginn is a good returner but terrible receiver.

His numbers are worse as his career has progressed. Not a good sign. PASSSSS

I'm curious what show, what day, and what time. Lloyd was on campus last week doing interviews but I don't remember what day.

I've only heard him associated with SF, NE, and to a lesser extent Dallas

As far as what we're doing to address the o-line, I think we might be interested in Evan Mathis and Eric Winston, but neither have visits scheduled with us that I know of, and Eric Winston has already said he wants to go to a contendor. Plus he's probably gonna get a big deal and I'm not sure we'll be willing to outbid everyone else.

We need to lock one of those guys down. I understand we dont want to outbid people but sometimes we got to do what we got to do. Oline is important, especially for a young QB.

Welcome & thankyou, my cuz is in his final days with the NAVY did 20yrs. I'm sure we are redoing contracts now with players opening up more cap space & that is why nothing major is going on right now.

Ideally, I'd want both, but if I had to select one, I'd go with Grubbs regardless of the cost. I think we have neglected the line for far too long.

You are right, we haven't neglected it per say. We've gotten younger and spent our 4th overall pick on a LT; however, the players that we do have currently aren't of the caliber needed to sustain play in the NFC East, where every team has elite pass rushing talent.

A lot of the oline woes last season came b/c of injuries and b/c our Qb wasnt that great. Still, I would like to see the team pick up a guard for depth and a replacemnt for J. Brown

Trent Williams may not be 4th overall material, but he was an absolute star after about week 3 last year.

Monty is competent, Kory is above average if healthy.

Chester is respectable, Brown is bad. If we ran/threw as well as we did with Willie Smith, I don't think it'd be unreasonable to assume he can backup Brown if he struggles or gets injured.

It will be interesting to see where he will land on the depth chart over there. WR is a wide open competition over there, and they have no true #1 so far.

Niles Paul hasn't proven he can return or catch effectively yet, just block effectively. He tips our hand whenever he gets on the field, which negates his prowess at blocking.

One of Moss or Gaffney needs to get the snip-snip, since it makes no sense to have two possession guys who don't scare defenses deep.

I don't hate our offensive line. I don't think our right side is very good, but I would rather re-tool the line than rebuild it from scratch.

Can any one explain to me what the big deal is about signing E Royal? Other then his age what is the up side of him over Moss? ER is nothing special and Moss has a few more good years left in him and we can find a better WR than Royal in the next year or so.

Our left side was actually pretty decent until Stieger got hurt and Williams got suspended. I think Chester would be better with a better center (Myers perhaps or Steiger if we signed Briesel to play LG) playing next to him. Not sure about Brown, he seems like a solid backup but done as a starter at this point.

As far as getting outbid on Royal...thank god we did. One of the worst regular offensive players in football the last three years. Better options out there with Steve Smith, Jairus Wright, Eric Page, or even Moss.

If we moved him to C or even left guard, he'd work well there and his contract would look a lot better.

I think Jammal Brown actually has a nice skill set to slim down just a bit and play a ZBS right guard. He lacks the footwork to play tackle, but could do what Mike Williams did for us in 2009.

Anyway, that's how you could upgrade at two or three positions on the OL while keeping the same set of starters. Just have to add a RT then in the draft.
