If it makes you feel any better neither Haslett nor Danny Smith will probably have a job here next season.
btw, landry had some good breakups in the jets game, and an int returned for a td. just sayin....
Ugh. What does bringing up ex-Redskins do? Jack ****ing shit. He's moved on, let's do the same.

I do not participate in the GD thread sometimes for that reason.....

Agreed. We finally have a future, I remind myself of that, but we are going to have crap games. We FINALLY have a QB. We definitely need to keep him healthy bc he is taking some shots.

I think they need to have a whole practice session of RGIII sliding and not diving. I cringe every time now....
No man its this team losing that is tiresome.
No, it's as much the game day threads. I can't recall a thread ever where we didn't have multiple "game over" "season over" posts even in games we win.

But whatever, it is what it is

Back to the game, we could use our time outs right now

Re: Redskins vs Bengals Gameday Thread

thing is smoot smack, coaches turn their teams around plenty in the nfl. and PLENTY of teams have turned their fortunes around in more than 3 seasons. the fact of the matter is that mike shanahan totally neglected the defense in denver his last 4 or 5 years, and they were absolutely atrocious. he is doing the same thing here, and has plenty of help with haslett at the defensive helm.

the point is it is not unheard of to turn an nfl franchise around in 3 seasons. shoot, its not impossbile to do it in 2, or even 1 season. Shanahan has turned our 5th ranked defense when he got here into the worst defense in the league, and its only going to get worse this season. unacceptable.

i'm tired of giving passes, and waiting just one more season.

Re: Redskins vs Bengals Gameday Thread

I dunno why people expect the gameday threads to be an endless fountain of positivity. Its football, there are ups and downs and people get sick and throw in the towel and then cheer when they do something good. I mean, hell I thought that's what made football fun. One minute you're throwing a beer can at the TV and the next you're giving your friend a high five.

If I gotta cheer and be a positive force even when the team is shitting the bed, then... Well, to each their own, I suppose.

Okay the Shanahan question was kinda bad. :Flush:

But you love us Smooty. It'll be okay.

How long did that take us? I think we kick it and try, try, try to stop the Bengals. We can get the ball back hopefully with enough time to score.

This is what I hate about onside kicks. Players always, always touch it before 10 yards. I think that was a mistake to do the onside kick.
