Well there goes the QB controversy. LOL.
Best thing that coulda happened |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
How bad is griff's knee?
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
This one is completely on the offense, and the offensive play caller. For Alfred Morris to disappear from the 3rd quarter on is inexcusable to me.
45 points looks deceiving as far as how well the defense played. Short field way too often. Another great game by D Hall. Rambo filled in nicely. Glad they gave him the start. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Haha! Oh my god. So when do the "bring back Rex Grossman" posts begin?
|
Best thing that coulda happened
Now we arent getting anything for him in a trade though. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Good job, wait until 2mins left losing by 200 and then feel like we have to be urgent to pass.
Attack you idiot. Can't play a game on Wednesday, might as well play from the 1st-4th qtr dickhole |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Wow....I think Denver was just playing with us the 1st 2.5 Quarters This is going to be a really long year

Um its already half.way |
This may be worse than the Eagles game this season. At least we were way out of that game. This, we should have won. Two TD lead, a run game chewing up the clock and you can't get the job done. Yuck.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
I still say we stick with Kirk even though I know we won't. We aren't doing anything this year so why not get Rg 3 completely heathly then get him some line help next year. If he keeps on getting hit like today he will not last, period.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
lmao how many INTs do we have this game? 5?
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Looks like we can kiss that second first rounder for cousins goodbye....
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Our o-line is getting man handled, they get pushed back on every play. Bums.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Wow, Kirk gets nailed in the helmet and no flag.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Nobody can judge Kirk. This is Kyle/Rob's loss.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Lol omg this offense is a fuckin joke. Fire Kyle and burns fuckem
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
lmao how many INTs do we have this game? 5?
Peyton had 3 INTs and a lost fumble. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
OMG, wow. First Garcon not coming back to the ball, then Reed giving up on the pass.
Both of those INT's are not his fault. See what I mean about not having a killer instinct? About hanging their heads if one thing goes wrong? This team is in shambles right now. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
sorry guys but i'm a impartial sports fan and have to say this. I'm just a 48 year old white guy who watches sports ...and that int-TD by Dominique Rodgers Cromartie was the best show off int. TD run to the end zone I have ever seen !
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Peyton had 3 INTs and a lost fumble.
Peyton also has a functional, high-powered offense though. Kinda like Stafford and the Lions did today. If you have players who can ball, your mistakes can be forgiven. RG3 stinks this year and all the other players do is make him and the team as a whole look worse. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
We can lose for much cheaper. Ditch the Shanahans.
I'd rather watch our cheerleaders play lingerie games. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Danny, quick fire up the plane and leave the Shanahan's in Denver.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Peyton had 3 INTs and a lost fumble.
Yeah but Peyton came back every time and balled out. Rg3 was just flat out shit today. Horrible performance |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Shanahan is just not good anymore. I understand all the loyalty, but his son is a liability calling the plays, and now we are up shits creek without a paddle concerning draft picks. So many holes on this team, and only 3rd and 4th rounders to shore it up. At least Reed looks good, except when he gave up on that last interception.
I hope we can find a good young coach who is hungry, and will play to the strengths of his squad. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
There were way to many hits on III today, the WRs when given a chance didn't make any plays, getting away from run game was ignorant, and the Oline just flat out sucks at pass blocking. The broncos were able to rush the middle like others have.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
RG3 is on pace to end the year with 18 fumbles.
Ugh, that just makes me sick. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
I miss having cable so I could have the Brian Mitchell post-game show catharsis. Please share with me what he says.

Our O-Line is not good! Its basically Trent Williams and 4 mediocre to bad players. That is not good enough to win. RGIII didn't play well at all today, but as the game went on, it became more clear it will be hard for him to play well with the talent we have on offense. On the play that he got injured/pulled, Lichtensteiger just got demolished on the play and RGIII was getting murdered while L was rolling around on the ground. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
I don't understand getting away from the run. Kyle Shanahan frustrates me. You have one of the league's best running backs and you don't play him in the second half. Makes no sense. Great Time controlling drive at the end of the second half and you can't go back to that? Gibbs would have done better. Lots of talent on this team going to waste.
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Wtf happened to our oline?monty needs to go, possibly Chester. I think polumbus played better than those 2
|
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Bring back Zorn and Sherman
|

Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
They abandon the run... then go to a PITCH PLAY ... down 10 in the 4th.. makes no fuckin sense Kyle week in and week out dissapoints me.. fuckin loser man... the o line cant stop 5th graders when trying to protrct rg3 ... but then we call a 12 yard pass, then 2 "prayer" deep balls that rg3 had to "throw up" cuz the o line gave him.no time..... didnt once see a fuckin screen...(besides a WR screen on 3rdthe and 19 down points) .. NO RB DRAWS ALLLLL GAME against a team who is obviously coming after you... shit makes me sick as fuck being up 21-7 in the 3rd... absolute joke... yhe defense can ONLY SO SO FUCKIN MUCH.... bye kyle. Fire that asshole, as well as mike honestly... sorry guys. Im pissed.
Bring back Zorn and Sherman
Sherm. Maybe. Zorn. Nah. He lost me with the swinging gate play. And then lost me again running the stretch play at our our 1 yard line. Yeahhhh, I'm done there. lol |
To me, it's the play calling. There was no excuse to get away from the run game. None.
Kyle gets too clever by a half. |

Zorn, Sherm, head ball coach, Wuerfel, Matthews, and McNabb at his current weight/age. Sweeten it with Albert, Lloyd, Archuletta and you have a deal. That's how much we need to get away with the Shanahan family. We shouldn't be losing games from the sidelines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
i really hope he didnt fk up that other knee with any kind of significance. its b/s its always some fat defensive tackle that has to drop theyre weight on him like that. knightons a punk. we need another wr, oline, safety in the offseason.
and for those who have been doubting dhall, especially in the offseason.. well.. dude hasnt had help over the top his whole tenure here. still holds it down. only person he cant cover is djax. |
Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Kyle needs to head to the unemployment line. His playcalling is atrocious, and RG3 needs to learn to go through his progressions, even if its only one OTHER receiver. This lock on and stare down your WR shit has to stop. Either he does that, throws into double coverage on a prayer deep ball, or holds the ball too long, and then either fumbles it or makes stupid decisions. The kid just isn't the all world QB EVERYONE thought he was. He is still better than average, but he has a TON of learning to do. And he is only going to get slower with age. Needs to get an OLine, get his mechanics down, and start studying defenses, going through his progressions. I know its hard to do with this line that Mike Shanahan has assembled, but hopefully the next coach can salvage some of the talent, and possibly shore up the guard spots and our safeties.
PS - Polumbus did not get pushed around half as much as other weeks today. It looked like he was solid today, as solid as you can be with RG3 holding the ball 8 seconds every dropback. I'd say at least 75% of the hits he takes are on himself holding the rock too long. Doesn't bode well for his future, thats for sure. |
