"Redtails" to me is ripe for mockery.

I can hear an opponent fan now: "your team's [I]gonna[/I] have a red tail when we're done with them ... har, har."

Plus, the actual origin of the term is so obscure it will be lost on most everyone.

If it HAS to be done, let it be the Warriors -- it's the closest possible term that will still represent what this team once was. Redhawks would be my second choice. If there can still be some way to pay tribute to native Americans, that's what I'd like. Even if the prevailing opinion seems to prefer that we erase their entire existence.

I gotta say, I like the look on this. Or they could swap it out with a mean looking wolf. But the colors look good to me. And the stripes on the sleeve with the 3 stars is a neat idea to rep DC.
