I wish Snyder would just move the franchise to somewhere else…London would be fine. Snyder isn’t gonna sell.
Get the NFL to move the franchise for first overseas spot…just get him out of dc and out of the country. This move would come with the caveat Washington will get a new franchise, new owner, new everything.
I am beginning to think that is his goal. Let the stadium lease run out and then go elsewhere. I'm sure there are a few cities out there that would love to have an NFL franchise and would build a stadium for them. I'm also amazed that the NFL puts up with one of its major market franchises being such a cluster f. Its one thing for Jacksonville or Indianapolis to be a mess but the franchise in the Nation's Capitol that should be the face of the league to seats of power is another. |

Jason Wright is Dan's new paid friend. I'd hang out w/ that dick if he paid me 2 mill per.
I don't think that sob has any friends. Not a single one. If he has a dog it probably follows Tanya around and doesn't go anywhere near Dan. |

He'll no! We don't want a shit show in the UK, That would nail the coffin on the NFL outside the states! 😁 How about Hawaii? Maybe Dan could accidentally fall into a volcano... |

"Believe it when I see it" is a smart stance to have on this whole story. But an NFL owner namely saying this on record is still a significant development IMO. Not saying "this is it" nor "no way he survives this", but this is still a step in the right direction. Determining how big of a step, and wether or not other steps will follow, is the 64 trillions dollars question. |

Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
Irsay punked Snyder on the Wentz trade.
This is why I’ve been saying since preseason that Snyder is going to fire Turner after the Colts game. Little Dan won’t be able to handle it, now this? Oh man this is so good! |
Anyone else see the letter Snyder sent to the other owners.... ?
Omg yes, what a crock of shit.
I'm really hoping this is it boys; that letter screams desperation to me. I'm usually extremely negative because if my feelings about Dan Snyder and my general hate for the Commanders name and the absolute shitshow that whole debacle was and this franchise has become BUT! If somefuckinghow Snyder has to go FOR REAL, not some bullshit "Sell the team to Tanya/his kids", and he is gone for good, I swear I'll be able to love this team again and I will generally be a happier person on Sundays. I've got some good beers hoping for a good show. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
What Jim Irsay said today was some pretty telling stuff. I don't think he would say what he did if he didn't have some kind of support from other owners. Hope it has some legs to it.

Idk, in some ways this is a good thing. Irsay's dirt is already public, he wouldn't have said anything if he had something big to hide. Guessing it won't matter when the report comes out though. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
I hear you on that. It definitely takes stones to speak up when you have your own issues. I think the major difference is that Irsay's transgressions are self injuring and not necessarily to the detriment of the organization.

Read and yes it does sound like it was written by a college drop out so I believe it is genuinely from Dan Snyder. I teach a class on technique used by science deniers to push an agenda. It involves five components: Fake experts: Presenting an unqualified person or institution as a source of credible information Logical Fallacies: Arguments where the conclusion doesn’t logically follow from the premises. Impossible Expectations: Demanding unrealistic standards of certainty before acting on the science Cherry Picking: Carefully selecting data that appear to confirm one position while ignoring other data that contradicts that position. Conspiracy Theory: Proposing that a secret plan exists to implement a nefarious scheme such as hiding a truth. In those four short paragraphs Dan has utilized three of those techniques quite well bravo Dan, this was a text book example of denial technique. |

I'm suddenly a huge fan of Irsay.
|
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
Still not a fan of Irsay, it would be delightful if they were to take each other out so to speak. I am sure there are plenty of other owners who would like Irsay gone. Given what is already publicly known about Irsay, what may be hidden could be far more intriguing.

Right. And Irsay is the one who's mostly likely to get a DUI on the way home from the owners meetings. Too bad is wasn't Mara who put this out there. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
Someone needed to stick their neck out like Irsay did. Can't help but think it wasn't an off the cuff comment but planned on the owner's part for him to do that.
|
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
It would not surprise me if Irsay has been designated the unofficial spokesman for some owners, because he's already a flawed character, and probably wouldn't be concerned about what Snyder may or may not have on him. I think if/when Snyder goes down swinging, he'd go after the some of the more outward wholesome type owners like the Maras or Rooneys.
