Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Am I the only one who misses Chip Lohmiller?

Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Why is Caldwell and Lloyd not being targeted? Is Lloyd even on the field?

Well, I miss the 1991 version of Lohmiller. Suisham isn't going to hit all of them. |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
He's dressed but he's not on the field.
Again, have some faith in your quarterback. Using this logic you should never throw the ball on your own side of the field.
Campbell has a 121 qb rating.
We're just going to go in circles here it seems. Sometimes you attack in those situations. Sometimes you don't. With our top two receivers out deep in our own territory, we chose not to attack |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Why is it automatically assumed that there will be a turnover?
Nobody is saying it would be...just taking the possibility away, and keeping a lead going into half. |

Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Yup...Taylor got there too early.

Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Anybody still bitching about the gameplanning... Look across the field, Martz's high powered attack always offense is really lighting it up.

Oddly enough, we find ourselves on the same side of the fence here. We did the right thing before half. There are times when conservative play calling is warrented. The skins were right. For all you that don't know...I got a lot of flack for saying how conservative we were in the Giants game. |

Fair enough. It just seems that Gibbs has been unnecessarily conservative in these situations. If Campbell had a shaky outing up to this point, I might agree, but he's been on target. |

Damn, Washington is out too?

What that the league's most explosive offense is actually getting 1st downs? Dude, it was going to happen. |

There is only 1 that is...the rest of us see the effort, and the great play calling thus far. We should give Campbell a freakin medal with the WR's he has. |
