What ever happened to all of the leaks at Redskins Park? Now that Scot M. has taken over personnel, the media folks don't seem to have a clue what the Skins might be doing in Free Agency or the draft.
Wait until the season starts. |

Id like to see him in the mix for SS. |

SM is not only evaluating the talent visiting the team, but he's also evaluating his staff. I expect big changes made after this upcoming season. |
Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
bleh....how many years are we going to scrape the bottom of the barrel for safeties.

Hopefully they're looking to draft a safety as well and Branch would just be a backup. |
Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Branch is obviously a potential depth move and nothing more. Nothing to get crazy about.

The Duke was resigned by the skins, Ihenacho that is.

Although dead, John Wayne would provide an upgrade to our safety play. |
Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
The main event will be the signing of the FA who will become our starting FS. That won't be cheap.

And could probably play better then most of them. |
Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
So ... any thoughts as to whether (1) Curtis Lofton would be an upgrade over Perry Reilly? and (2) If so, would he be affordable.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Saints are 23M over the cap without a lot of room to restructure. Going to have to cut some decent players. (Lofton, Grubbs, Evans, Colston, Bunkley) I think Lofton is the only one I would be interested in ... if he is affordable and still has gas in the tank.
If they cut Grubbs or Evans, certainly would be worth a look. |
