Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
moss was benched those last few series. nice to have the "go to guy" on the sidelines
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
How do we go from looking like a super bowl contender one week to looking like a college team the next week????
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Fuck this fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckn bullshit fuckskins fuckoff shit.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
This game was fucking amazing. Amazingly bad.
I mean I knew the Redskins could play a bad game, but who knew it could've gotten THIS bad? |
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
3 and 2
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
are u fucking kidding me this was absolutley pathetic, an entire second half worse than the giants game.... couldnt even get into field goal range..
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Jason Campbell didn't lose this game for us. His supporting cast did
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
That was just disgusting.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Boy I'm speechless.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Moss cost us the game
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
can anyone help me? I want to do a good deed and give away some wash redskin football cards about 60 of them how do I get some info?
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
all of a sudden I feel a 6 win season is in the mix
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
game ball to Gibbs for the outstanding clock management. star on the helmet to Moss for 0 catches, 1 deflection for an INT, one fumble for a TD
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
too many turnovers for us to win this game... practice should get really interesting this week
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Moss blew it. Thats all I have to say.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
That was one of the ugliest games I have ever seen.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
This makes the collapse during the Giants game look damn graceful.
Worst, most aggravating football game I've ever watched. The Redskins didn't deserve a win, and frankly neither did the Packers. Thank you, Santana Moss, for fucking this one up. |
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
yet again end of game situations kill us. we us 2 timeouts in tha matter of 30 seconds and that was with 6:00 mins to go.
|
Jason Campbell didn't lose this game for us. His supporting cast did
Definitely. I lay no blame on JC for this game. He was fighting for this game. But between Moss and Portis and ST dropping INTs and having NO O-Line whatsoever. The Skins didn't stand a chance. |

Moss and the offensive line lost the game for us. I am so pissed at them right now that I can't see straight. |
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
I'm out....
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
i agree with moss costing us the game partially..
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
I'd rather lose that way. Our scheme was fine and just about everyone came to play. Take away the drops and fumbles and we win easy I think. Just a flukey loss for us.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
pathetic. im pinning this one on moss im sorry. fumble by him for td, dropped pass for int, dropped 50 yard pass wide open...portis played bad...cant blame the o-line, we were decimated by injuries, what do you expect?
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
An injury riddled team leaves that ever illusive measure of respect in Green Bay. Many missed opportunities today.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
I won't blame Buges for this. He cooking with the groceries Snyder bought. This was a winnable game, that we let get away. I said from the beginning of the year that we need to add depth to the o-line. We have never been successful without great o-line play. We overpay for popular big name players, but other than Raybach, we really haven't brought in anyone other than cast offs and unprovens.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
not a doom and gloom guy.... but with no offensive lineman it doesn't matter who runs or throws the ball
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Let's look at this way: we had all subs on the right side of the line and lost our center. Our top two receivers just couldn't catch the ball (that happens, especially when they've been nursing injuries). Any team under those circumstances would be expected to lose. The fact that we were in the game up to the very end and only lost due to a fumble return is a testament to our defense. We're not a bad team - we're a good team with serious injuries. If we can get our oline a little healthy (any word on Rabach?) we'll still be in it.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Tellya what, our strength and conditioning coach has some explaining to do. Every week, every injury it's groins or hammys....
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Surprise, surprise. The same thing that has been plaguing us for, what, 8 out of the last 9 years comes back for another tour: completely unreliable / injury-decimated WR corps.
The defense played well against ol' gunslinger, the refs gave the cheese-wangs plenty of opportunities to win on suspect calls, but most importantly, Jason put the ball where it should have been on at least 8 seperate occasions that were dropped by the wides. Apparently, Cooley and McCardell are the only guys on the team who can catch. I can't even pile on B.Lloyd's typical half-hearted play because all the other receivers were just as guilty. |

who came to play on the offensive side of the ball other than Campbell...everyone else looked like they were playing in slow motion |
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
What a horrible game overall. From more and more injuries to our offensive line, to Santana's hands, to Portis' fumble. Ugh. And the clock management. This one was definitely a huge step back.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Let's go Patriots
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
This was the worst half in all the NFL this year. We owned the other worst half from the Giants game. Someone on the Skins staff must lose their fucking job over this. If there is not a major shakeup I don't know if it's possible to root for this team any longer - almost like failure, incompetence and utter stupidity is a way of life for the Redskins organization.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
More than anything I'm concerned about the health of our O-Line for the coming week... hope Heyer isn't seriously hurt... it could be a few weeks before Wade is 100% if he has a serious groin injury

Uh, I don't think anyone's going to stop rooting for the team over a bad game, unless the reason you started rooting in the first place was the fact that we were winning... |

I think if anyone is to blame (or get fired) its the strength and conditioning coach for killing our O-Line. Everyone is dropping to hammies and groin injuries. We can't do anything without our line. You can't have pass/run protection without your pass/run protectors in! |
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Moss is to blame a lot this game but it is a team game and a lot had to do with it. Sean Taylor stepped up.
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
we need a big play reciever.........to compete in this league
|
Re: Redskins v.s. Packers Game thread
Anyone know why Reche Caldwell hasn't dressed up?
