Nah. You just have to get used to his attitude. I like him, he brings a lighter mood to this site, especially when we all get so used to bickering amongst ourselves. Some people say don't feed the troll, but around here he's not really a troll, more like a harmless drunk everybody likes to make fun of. |
Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
A drunk?? ok so if you guys know him, then he must be cool....

Well he's been around for a while. Everybody that's been around here for a while knows him, it's not the first time he's come around acting stupid. I just enjoy it, everybody knows he'll just leave once the Skins start doing better. |

So whos got the latest skinny on Stainsworth...is he going to practice this week or WTF?

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
Yeah, I'm done buying this BS about AH being dominant and has so much potential. He wasn't even dominant last year. He was good, and at times dominated, but damn sure wasn't dominant. The guy isn't close to Jay Ratliff or Hampton even when he's on his game. I'd take Sean Ellis/Jets over Haynesworth.
When he's actually playing, he's good. But I'm very hesitant to call him the top, without question, defensive tackle in the league. At the rate he's going right now, it will take him another year or two to become the defensive tackle he was with Tennessee.
I think that as long as our players don't beat women or hurt children theres always the potential for forgiveness. Especially when they produce on the field. Portis attitude adjustment and Landry's flat out dominance are perfect examples of that. People were practically begging the front office to get rid of these guys now the fan base loves them. If Haynesworth put fourth the same effort and somehow bought into the system he would see the same reaction from the fans. And trust me the potential is there, at least as it relates to his on the field ability. Of course Shanahan's history suggest that Haynesworth will leave sooner rather then later but a guy can dream. |
Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
In general, fans really care more about winning than character, except when they feel it's convinient to call them out.

Yeah, tell that to the people who warmed up to the cut blocking of the ZBS not too far into Shanahan's tenure here.

How many fans did you hear defend Ben...20, 50,...100? How do you make the leap that ALL is forgiven with the fanbase and Ben and their 2....3m fans? Seems quite a leap? Ben seriously compromised the Steelers team this season, and if the truth were known (as in 53 players, coaches, staff....fans, etc) Ben is not forgiven. Just quietly swept under the "family" carpet, and not played out in the media, as it should be. |
Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
Time for godzilla to shut up all the jealous haters and tear down st. Louis!!!! Ha ha ha

Yep, I just cant wait until he has a multi sack game and then half of the haters will be backing AH. I just hopes he turns out to be what has not been so far. |

The Albert haters are more predictable than a Joe Gibbs press conference. They would say that he should have had 3 sacks and then will call him fat, say he is lazy, call him overpaid and demand that we trade him. |
Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
Talk is cheap from that selfish clown. If he makes it on the field tomorrow and plays ok we shall see how long it lasts, I have zero expectations from Fat Al.
Remember we play the Rams. |

Well, he's fat. I mean he just is. It's not really debatable. Not as fat as last year, but still a fat fatty. Lazy and overpaid are just a given at this point. |

Would they really cry if Ben won another Super Bowl for the city even if he's a girl-hunter and gigantic douche in a wave of moralistic uprightness? The amount of utility the Super Bowl win provides overrides "morality" in most of them because humans in general don't follow through with ethics down to the last logical iota. The incentives are, and they will act on them. |

Lazy and overpaid are just a given at this point.
Just wanted to let people know a secret...Most NFL offensive and defensive lineman are fat. Has a coach called him lazy? The only people that I hear calling him lazy aren't 1-100th of the athlete that he is. In fact it is funny to hear people question the work ethic of someone who is so successful in his profession. I guess they just hand out Pro-bowl selections and DPOY awards. |
