Our defense has held the Saints offense to 10 points.
It was a good PI call. The PI took place when he made his break.
illegal contact would have been the better call, seeing that the was wasnt fully released from Brees yet.

Don't really want to see Fletch covering Sproles to much more, sooner or later that is a bad match up.
Yeah, but Luck is actually facing a defense. RGIII looked pretty bad in Chicago too, and that was just pre-season. I'm sure Luck is seeing a lot more complicated stuff. Plus his team is less talented.
I still think there is more to that story. Like I truley believe MS requested the Bears to blitz more. Heck we saw no blitzing from Buffalo. So I think MS was trying to let RG3 get some hits and get a chance to see some blitzes.

more surprised by this than RG3 performance. Saints miss Sean Payton

This is when we find out if we are going to find out what kind of team we are going to be, need to stay aggressive.

Wow. What a incredible play by that corner back. A perfectly thrown ball at that.

I hate this announcer. Shows the graphic that RGIII is the only rookie qb not to throw an INT today and very next play he almost does it….

Re: Redskins vs. Saints Gameday Thread

Why has our offense gotten so lazy?

Our D was on the field for too long a time.

Wow, did we trade danny smith to NO at halftime?

They need Garcon back.

Can someone explain to me why we don't have a play for 3rd and 5 that results in 6 yds for the first down?

haha...what a dumbass jogging off instead of sprinting. Thanks for the 1st down dummy!

I really feel like an idiot at this point. Didn't like giving up all those picks for RG3. Thought our OL was hot garbage. So far, so good, glad to be wrong....

I saw something about a rookie qb and rb starting game 1 of the season for the browns. Its only happen 4 times in like 50 years? When is the last time a rookie qb/rb has won opening game?

Doesn't seem like there more than the normal amount of bitching about the ref's. I guess that's a good sign! It's not over yet, of course...

I, for one, am not surprised at his performance at all. He is playing lights out better than Luck (2 picks), Tannehill (2 picks), and Weeden (3 picks).

Foot injury on that TD when the defender dived at his feet towards the end.
