DS....” I can trust him because I worked with him for many years”.....anyone who works with Douche Snyder for years is nobody anyone can trust. I am really shocked about how quietly this whole thing is blowing over, and it is pretty much past the point that I can continue to root for a Douche Snyder owned team. The thought of him standing there with a Lombardi Trophy raised in the air is not worth my team winning a Super Bowl. I want him to fail miserably. So wtf is the point of rooting for them? Uggh.
I don't think you have to worry, Punch. No way in hell DS ever wins a super bowl. I too am surprised that the whole thing has blown over, and for the most part, it seems like no one cares what happened outside of the fanbase. I thought at bare minimum, we would surrender draft pick(s), and maybe Dan would have to be fined, but i get the impression that the league isn't going to do anything at all. |

At the end of the day when the games are being played, are we thinking about Snyder? Never. We're rooting for the players. This will all die down once things get started and hopefully Snyder just stays in the background. He has a strong HC who is not going to be pushed around. He commands respect, unlike Gruden. |
Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread
As far as Bateman goes, again who cares. He is in the biz department and will never be heard from. Everyone is going to have to be on their best behavior. The frat boy nonsense is over with.

It’s like the music biz .. you have a band you love then you meet them and find out they are jerks .. I still like the music .. to tell you the truth I don’t want to meet or know athletes most of the pro athletes I’ve met and known are complete ass holes 😀

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread
Julie Donaldson hired by the team to become it's Head of media and content per JP Finlay

So lets say Haskins pans out, RR rights the ship abd the unthinkable happens ... man talk about shitting on my parade. Can you imagine that smug little fucktard hoisting the Lombardi and smiling like “see Skins fans! I told you I had this!” When in reality you ruined football for 25 years for us and than finally let other people take the reigns and we won it all. [emoji2961] [emoji2961] [emoji2961] |

I met Tom Clancy at a book signing back in the day. He was a total a-hole who could barely grunt an acknowledgement to the people wanting their books signed. I never read another book he wrote and still wont. I'm with you, its better to not meet the athletes/celebrities if for no other reason than to avoid finding out they are a-holes. |

Yeah I always think of the coach as keeping the players in line not the FO execs. Like when this story broke and Smoot was saying its on Gruden. How is it on Gruden to keep the business execs in line? |

I knew he was a MD resident but didn't know where. I get grunting if I bother him while he's out at dinner with his family but at a book signing he agreed to it seems that he should at least fake friendliness for the hour he agreed to meet his customers. That's why he was an author and not an actor. |

Makes me wonder if Julie has more dirt on Snyder...and taking the high-paying job was a deal not to expose it.
Tough to trust anyone in the news media anymore. |

Tough to trust anyone in the news media anymore. Just interesting that the reporter who exposed the story gets hired. |

She doesn’t work for the WaPo, what did she have to do with the story other than tweeting about it?

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread
I wonder if London Fletcher would be interested in the broadcast job?
Was trying to think of former Redskins with booth talent. Cooley would be amazingly bad but entertaining. :D |
Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread
London -- I love him as a player, but he might be a little to dry conversation wise.
Cooley - hes been doing the radio game broadcasts for a while, i really like him Smoot - love me some smootism but he might be too much |

I like the idea of Sheehan doing play by play

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread
Larry Michael was the play by play guy.
So I assume, they are looking for a play by play guy. That would mean a professional sports broadcaster and not a former player color guy like Cooley or Doc Walker (who are already on the radio gameday). |

So it’s not such a toxic org she wouldn’t join it. Just the gasping from the Local media types who didn’t have the story, it’s just a lil dramatic and over done...as we see with the move. Cooley and Sheehan should lead the coverage in the booth. |

Cooley and Sheehan should lead the coverage in the booth.
There is no chance in your head that she might think she can make a difference? It has clearly been a toxic organization. Whether DS was aware of it or not (either way shame on him) he thinks she is the right hire to fix it or be part of the fix, and as much as it pains me to say it he is right ... albeit a little late and obviously a forced move. Yes on Cooley n Sheehan for sure |

There were two female reporters that were harassed by Redskins executives, how the f*ck did you expect her to react? Again, if you think Cooley and Sheehan are better, that's fine, but again, no need to be a dick about and attack Donaldson. I swear, you need to take a break from this forum. |

Wow Haskins looks great. Holcombe looks jacked. Our front 7 should be beastly this year.
Thomas Davis- One of the more underrated signings in Washington history. Dude is straight beast and brings much needed leadership/experience. |
