Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
I’ve never filed an insurance claim on my vehicle in my life, no accidents…knock on wood. Got comprehensive on the truck and my rate with geico, about 3-4 months ago they raised my monthly rate from $68 to $95.
I haven’t gotten any tickets in 5 years. My guess this was due to vehicle values holding steady and inflation? It’s just a fucking another thing pissing my wallet off
Geico, i swear is a PITA but they probably all are. I had GEICO since i was 16 and just recently switched to Erie it was cheaper and i have a actual agent been good so far over the past two years. I was rear ended last year, nothing big, guy had Allstate. The level of service I got from Allstate was pretty damn good and i wasn't even their customer/insurer. |

When you wake up with a kink in your neck, then you can't stop messing with it, and end up making the other side hurt too. My shit has been jacked for going on a week now.

When you buy something online and they start pounding you with daily emails making you regret your purchase, like I just gave you some money, chill the F out

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Commercials where 2 people are talking to each other in like their living room, where it's presented like it's not a commercial and no camera is there. Just a random conversation about the product.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Credit score fluctuations. In the past year mine has gone from exceptional to very good, I haven't opened any new accounts or had any credit inquiries. My credit card balances are paid off each month with no balance carry over. No idea what's caused my score to drop 20+ points.

yeah it is odd but unless you are trying to purchase a home i wouldn't worry to much; 20 points isn't that big a deal. you may want examine your total credit limit; do you have a bunch cards just sitting there with high credit limits (meaning its a card with $10K of credit but you have $0 charged to it)? But also don't close a CC that you have had for a long time because they like to see a long history of credit, its so a double edge sword. |

I haven’t closed any accounts. The only thing I can think of is the student loan pause but that’s not supposed to hurt you. I’ve done a free credit report check and everything looks fine, it’s really odd. |

Credit cards (3) all paid in full every month but this month I did put a nice car repair on one which was paid in full at the end of the month but the rating took a hit of about 5 points. |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
When you can't make an appointment on time, and its 100% out of your control. There are 2 ways from my house to my doctor. Both directions had huge accidents on them, so I had to call and reschedule and turn back around and go home. People drive like such shit in South Carolina, that's why every commercial break has at least one car accident injury lawyer commercial. Tired of seeing those fuckers, but they must make a killing here.

SC has most uninsured motorists in US. One of the reasons insurance is disproportionately higher
