Thanks! It’s nice to vent to fellow skin fans. My phone has been ringing off the hook from eager cowgirl and beagle fans wanting to express how much of a thug Portis is.

Please CP, tell the media you were not thinking straight and apologize for offending anyone, no "buts" or defending what you said or comparisons to other issues. If you are friends with MV, then say so and then say you were just trying to back a friend, and said some dumb things. People will respect that.

Chris Samuals post incident remarks I think puts him Ok now on this, so follow his lead.

A sincere statement of regret for all this is the only thing that will make it all go away. And maybe a donation to the Humane Society or ASPCA and for a real effect, go to an animal shelter and listen to some people tell you how they felt hearing your comments and show them how much a man you really are.

I want to root for you this year running for mega yards and scoring touchdowns, and even seeing you make more funny comments to the media if you want to.

If you don't like it, why do ya keep comin back for more, doesn't make much sense? That's what this thread is about. If I don't like a thread I don't make one post not to mention the same position over and over?

I know I'm coming off as a jerk and I probably shouldn't single anyone out because there are other people that will repeatedly comment that a thread is stupid, but it just gets on my nerves.

Well why do you keep coming back to this thread if you think it's full of "stupid shi+"?
I never said you couldn't keep posting whatever you want or even that you shouldn't keep posting, I'm just wondering why you seem to feel the need to keep coming back and posting in a thread that you obviously think is dumb.

I think that before too long people will see that I am right about Goodell. He has some autocratic tendencies that will cause the owners to turn on him like a pack of wolves. He doesn't need to make a press release on every NFL story that comes along. All that does is encourage media to make more smoke.

I think he will jump the shark sometime in 2008. Perhaps the owners will then install Casserly. He was always a good company man.
