Well i just shoveled 3" deep at 930. Meanwhile Mother Nature laughed in my face while covering over where I just shoveled, I would say about 1" fell back over that. f... shoveling

And this is just the initial low. There's another low coming in from off the coast tomorrow, coupled with gusts over 50mph. Nuts I tell ya.

same here in nova, and they said we would only have a half inch by 9. mother nature is being really (earmuffs) cuntish right now

I love in a lot of places. In the car, my house, I also did once outside. I dont think I have done it in your neighborhood though.

I'm in NE DC, and I just looked out my front door... Maybe 3 inches out there right now? no more than 4 or 5 at most.. The street in front of my house is clear of snow, except the big banks on the sides where plows pushed all the snow.. the street looks like its already been plowed or else they pre-treated the hell out of my street.

I think most of the big snow is yet to hit today....there is about 6 on my back porch, and it's calling for 4 to 6 more....winds of 50MPH

i havent been to work since friday. normally this is a good thing but damn im going crazy.

its snowing hard down here in baltimore. the record seasonal snow for bmore is 62 inches. yesterday, before todays snow, we were at 60 inches. im guessin were about 64 inches and counting right now.

the wind is kicking ass here in nova right now it's honestly like a tornado it's nuts.

and don't know if anyone caught this on the news but pepco has suspened all work to restore power until the storm ends so that sucks big time

Well get ready boys and girls because next monday or tuesday, that storm from california will be here causing snow.....saw it on TWC this morning and my jaw about dropped.

Look guys...we've went far too long around here with too mild winters...it was only a matter of time.

Just got the email my work is closing down at 11AM, so this will be my last post for today....We have a blizzard warning until 7PM.....

Well I'm finally getting a taste of snow, but the bulk of the storm is still too far south. We [I]might[/I] get 3-6 inches by tomorrow.

It's BAD out there. Montgomery County and DC have pulled the plows off the roads now for the safety of the drivers. Looking out across my balcony (I'm on the 11th floor) towards downtown DC, I would say visibility is probably about 1/10 of a mile, maybe less. You couldn't pay me to get behind the wheel of a car.
