Scott Tolzien Taylor Potts I think the UDFA thing may play into our QB situation if this friggin lock out ever ends.
Devlin - Lets be honest, no one would be paying attention to him had it not been for the success of Joe Flacco. Taylor Potts - Texas Tech QB? No tanks kind sur. Scott Tolzien - Passed the 26-27-60 rule. I'm in. |
I doubt the wrist band was the sole reason McNoodle was benched.
Also, would everyone please stop referencing what the Skins did last year with a typical MS offensive scheme. The closest I could see the offense even remotely resembling MS's scheme was in the run game on only the 2 or 3 runs that actually made it past the line of scrimage because the OL actually did their jobs. I'd say almost 90% of the scheme was more KS's offensive scheme, similar to Houstons. Now if you want to go look at the history of KS and if any of the QB's wore wrist bands then fine. Maybe none of his QB's did either, but it wouldn't have killed him to wear a wrist band.
Yeah the offense is Kyle's, but where do you think he got a lot of his ideas and concepts from? You don't grow up with Mike Shanahan as your Dad and not come away influenced by him. The zone running game, the boot actions, etc., that's all vintage Mike Shanahan. Kyle has made it his own now, but there's still a lot of similarities there. |

The presumed Redskins starting QB said he loves to get hit while throwing. This is what he was talking about.”

Re: Skinsfaninok's Available NFL QBs Poll
The offense started with Mike. .
Mike->Gary kubiak Denver Kubiak->Kyle Houston What we dealt with was a trial season of a mixture of both |
I don't get why people get their panties in a bunch about this. Did McNabb have some part in the mess that was last offseason? Of course. But he wasn't alone. Personally, I don't think he should've been brought here at all.
My thoughts exactly. McNabb has always been, IMO, one of the most over-rated QB's ever. I saw him throw a deep pass on the run that was as great a pass as I've ever seen. On the other hand he throws more short passes in the dirt than any QB I've ever seen. |

It's a whole different style of adolescent rebellion. "Kyle Run the ball." "No." "Kyle" "I don't want to" "Kyle you can pass later." "But I want to pass now." "Kyle, Kyle, don't you dare call a pass play young man. Give me that playbook." "No! Daddddddddd....I HATE YOU" |

LMFAO at the fact that more people chose Alex Smith over VY.

Why does that get a LMFAO? They're both high draft picks with tools and untapped potential. Sure Young is a "winner" but Smith could have easily been a winner against non-playoff teams in Tenneesee to. Young's career passer rating is 75.6 while Smith is 72.1. LMFAO is picking Leaf over Manning. Also FWIW I choose Vince Young. |

My dad is a Cowboys fan and I'm a Redskins fan. Sometimes the apples falls on the opposite side of the tree. Kyle Pass-Run ratio both here and in Houston 60-40. Mike's career Pass-Run ratio 50-50. UDFA QBs- Jerrod Johnson Does Potts have any arm strength? If so then him too. |

Hmmm....I thought he was ruined by Gibbs. Told him he was the starter and then...snatched the rug out from under him? |
Re: Skinsfaninok's Available NFL QBs Poll
In Soviet Russia Leaf ruin Spurrier.
