Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
Kirk had all day no excuses for him he sucks plain and simple . 6 weeks in u can see progression and regression and he's regressed. Lucky that we aren't 1-5 honestly with that eagles game that was just a lucky throw by him
People buy into the bs "teams in the right direction" man f that shit we've heard that for years. Most just won't admit that they are rooting for a loser, the redskins are now in the browns category, yeah they have 3 rings blah blah that was damn near 30 years ago. Nobody cares about that anymore, u look around the nfc east and as bad as it is this yr we should have had a chance and we don't because it never changes. Yeah I'm a fan but I'm not as big of a fan as I once was because until I see back to back winning seasons I don't buy what they are selling.
Yup. Its sad but true. We have gotten our asses kicked twice this year. Put up a clunker against a bad dolphins team and we are 6 games into the season. If thats the rite direction than our compass is broken. |

Yep if it wasn't for that miracle run with Rg3 we would have finished like 7 straight years last in the east. Let that sink in btw folks, this sorry ass team has finished 6 of the last 7 in last lol. |
Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
I would draft Kevin Hogan, Goff will be gone when we pick.

SF I blame you for making me drink the kool aid. Before the season started i posted about my new non koolaid philosophy. Was expecting zilch from this team. Man thats alot easier than watching it crumble around you. Thanks alot. Lol. |

If not for the injuries, we could be doing better. Missing 7 players doesn't help, 8 if you count Gallette. |
Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
Yeah, its not a great draft for QBs. Would have to research a bit more on the QB prospects in the later rounds. I think Goff has a stronger arm than Brennan had. Teams tend to reach for QBs though. So they will both probably be in the top 10.
I'd say the kid from Penn State might be best pro prospect in the draft. Connor Cook does nothing for me. Even if Goff has a better arm he's a pile of sticks. There is no way he can survive and NFL season. And did you see his 5 int game the other week? Kid needs to stay in school in the worst way. He is not ready for the NFL. |
Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
I am amazed at how many people can not see how much the team has improved since last year. Moses has 6 career starts and that was the most on the o-line. They are on the 4th TE, both starting DB's and safety is out, and your primary WR has been out all season with a hamstring injury.
I do not care if KC threw two INT today, he is auditioning for his job next year. Going into the season, everybody agreed this was a 6 or 7 win team. They are still on pace to reach 6 or 7 wins. |
Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
If there's one good thing to come out of this injuries, the backups are getting experience giving us more depth and the coaches are seeing some of this backups are better than starters.
Breeland is our best CB Jarrett is doing a solid job Crowder Long And today LeRibeus and Nshekeh did a decent job. I would love to see Breeland, Culliver and Jarrett as our CB's. |

Hogan?? He looks like a fullback playing QB. He looks like a 4th or 5th rounder to me. |

Unless Cousins significantly improves, the Skins need to do something, I'll trust Scott to draft or sign the best guy possible. |

Yeah, I wouldn't draft him on the 1st but it could change. He plays in a pro style offense, has been well coached and most important WINS. Who would be your choice for QB to be drafted since you don't like any of them. |

Personally, I think that's been the plan all along. I bet we'll be on the market for a FA bridge QB this offseason too. |
Re: Redskins v. Jets Gameday Thread
One guy who has always been good is Matt Hasselbeck. Isn't he a free agent this year? Don't laugh at me but I know he is going to turn 40 this year but he hasn't had major injury and when you said a FA Bridge QB, I immediately thought of him. He has played very well filling in for Andrew Luck and i bet he could do a fine job starting one season, or as needed. Having my doubts if KC is the long term answer but either way i think he is in the mix next year...

Why go backwards? Draft a young guy and build from it. |
