TOS is reporting a possible trade, where we would trade a player..... maybe a CB for a draft pick........ and then replace him with a FA CB

Anybody here want to give it a shot?
Dude our secondary is going to be garbage
With the current rules passing rules secondary's are usually garbage as is. Giants and Steelers have had crappy secondaries for years. These days it's all about the pass rush.

From another thread, TOS=The Other Site so of course that means whatever rumor can probably be ignored.

JSteelz and TK started it, even went as far as to say it was still on even after the cap penalties were announced. Being bounced around twitter and TOS, but I do not tweet. People are guessing Hall being dealt

Not sure if this site allows links to rival sites??

ES is not a rival site. It is a decidedly lesser site.

Anyhow, SS was talking about a possible trade earlier.

So if the Redskins were a boat, you might say they were... cap-sized?

Texans starting RT Eric Winston was released by Texans, which was a surprising move. I would love it if we somehow could sign him!

Ignore this post, I didn't realize it is discussed in other threads.

Per Schefter, the Texans cut Leinart....backup for us???

Adam Schefter ‏ @AdamSchefter
This is not to make room for Peyton Manning: Texans cut quarterback Matt Leinart.

Leinart's certainly someone I'd guess we would consider. Since we did the last two years, but is he healthy?

I hate using PFT as a source...but if this is true the WR market may become more competitive...

I think we're past that now. I mean seeing as how they're owned by NBC and have continued to produce credible stories over the past few years they've earned the right to be deemed legitimate. Maybe not a better source then ESPN, SI.com, etc but certainly nowhere near as bad as needing an apology above their link :D

Re: Redskins: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades

I would say that you can't get crap in a trade for Hall, but after getting picks for both McNabb and Haynesworth, I suppose you can get a late round pick for simply being willing to do the paperwork for another team.

Plus PFT facts generally are on-target. PFT editorializing remains quite suspect. So as long as you are quoting facts you generally are in good shape.

Exactly, the editorials are the sketchy part of PFT. An analogy if you will. Tampering is to PFT as Lupus is to House.

PFT does a good job at gathering stories from different parts of the country and publishing it. I'd rather get scoops from Glazer, Schefter, or from local beat reporters (although some can be suspect as well). Regardless, I'd prefer to pass on a PFT story that has an additional source.
