At least by all accounts, he paid for it unlike Dez Bryant. I still don't understand why a man would wear jewelry period, let alone enough to buy several houses. |

Same reason why people that win the lottery go bankrupt a year later. If you come from a poor neighborhood it probably means you do not know how to handle money. |

Seems like it should be the opposite. You know how to survive without money so you hoard it when you come into some. You know how to value it. I guess that's stupid. |

Handle it right into the hands of the people selling all the crap you are buying. It amazes me the lengths that teams and the NFL go to try and educate players on financial responsibility and have maybe a few players actually show up to the meetings. Blow all their money. Then cry about it. Wish I had the opportunity to decide whether or not to blow all that money. |

 wait I thought Tony Romo had already done this. :twocents:
Lets see, Romos been mentioned Jeff Garcia and Shaun Alexander are out of the league. It's not ayanbadejo because he would be hypocritical telling players to come out but he wouldn't want to come out. There have been rumors about Vernon Davis. Wonder who that player might be? As he so far has us in a guessing game?!

Please don't start up this again. It only leads down a rabbit hole that will result in this thread being locked. If/when anyone decides to discuss their personal sexual orientation with the media, then I suppose it might be thread worthy, but idle speculation of that is not what this website is about. I am sure there are other places you can go to play those guessing games. just not here. |

Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
When did Gruden start doing other positions in his Quarterback Camp segments? And why would he kick it off with Manti Teo who not even a top ten pick or possibly first round? Water it down for ratings?
Do I have to boycott another ESPN show/segment? I hope NBC and CBS bring the pain sportwise to ESPN. I like the actual events coverage, ex: MNF, Sunday Night Baseball, College basketball. But their "shows" have just embarrassed the network. |

Romo is a great guess. Look at the caliber of woman he's failed to lock up. Sure Jessica Simpson's personality is annoying but really...you let her go? He's been dumped by better women than most people ever meet. Sounds like a candidate for gay to me. When he's not wearing questionable hats and pink shirts like this...; ...he's wearing his "BIG D" hat. Really, Tony, you love "Big D"? Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
The obsession here with other people's sexual orientation is sad.
I hate the offseason.
You know it would be fascinating if a player you rooted for all these years said that he was gay. It literally takes away the stereotype of gay guys being wimpy people, by playing in this tough physical sport. A lot of people here were speculating about Manti Teo being gay, yet someone asks who that gay player might be and people start ridiculing and being hypocrites about it "Oh its inappropriate; who cares" |
