Obviously raising the cap alone doesn't solve everything, but it's part of it along with possibly raising the full retirement age (it's already been slowing creeping up), modifying the benefit formula and/or making it means tested.

This was a very depressing ruling. That favors developers over clean water, storm surge protection. We have already drained and filled 90% of all wetlands in the United States it is not radical to want to conserve 10%. What is radical is allowing the filling of it all. The intentionally vague language of continuous surface connection to major bodies of water are going to lead to more exploitation and the cancerous ideology of this county.

I have no problem disagreeing with the ruling. But it was 9-0. The simple default to just labeling everything MAGA when it doesn't go your way is lazy at best. But really, it's just being a piece of shit lying scumbag, a Schumer specialty.
