Has to go through standard tests. If no setbacks he'll do some cardio tomorrow maybe and practice Wednesday. Any setback and he won't play Sunday

Meriweather, as I mentioned before, likely not back until after the bye week. Jammal Brown may return then as well (I've stopped holding my breath on him)

punch it in 10-08-2012 03:30 PM

Wow jamal brown. Yeah havent even considered him but imagine if he does return and is good again? Same with BW. If he is good again? An offensive line and secondary upgrade might just be what the doctor ordered.
As im typing this dream weaver is playing somewhere in my head.

I honestly think some guys are seriously trolling up here with some of the "opinions". Not sure how you can expect anybody to take you seriously when you are suggesting any of the following:

1) Bring back Al Sauders or Gregg Williams
2) Signed Gaffney (or Plaxico) instead of Garcon due to one is pricey and other is not. Mind you, this is from somebody who has been bitching repeatedly about WR speed.
3) Thinks Moss is our best WR of the group.
4) Fire everybody in the Redskins organization except for Raheem Morris, and then touts his "winning record" as a coach. The same coach that a 17-31 record with the Buccaneers and was promptly fired. Yeah...THAT winning coach.

You really can't win with some fans. Damned if they do, damned if you don't. It's not even about having a different opinion, it's about having a LOGICAL opinion. The above is not logical in any shape, form or fashion.

You have to laugh at the insanity.

I was actually thinking about Jammal Brown last night...in a totally normal way. And was going to ask about him this morning to see what was up with him. But I totally forgot. From what I've seen, Polumbus is pretty awful. I mean he's really terrible

That is hysterical. Kid in the middle looks like hes waiting for the hibachi chef to flip him a piece of tofu.

Polumbus gets schooled in pass pro way too often. Yeah he's bad.

[quote=punch it in;950462]Im not necessarily saying cousins wont be better than grossman some day. Im saying that we had/have a serviceable backup in grossman already who knows the offense. I think the pick would have been better served elsewhere and we could have replaced grossman or not - its not like grossman is a sought after commodity and he basically has said he has no problem sticking around and being the backup.
You said urself the team is no better or worse at second string qb so why the pick?

a serviceable backup (Rexy) who came in because McNabb couldn't run the two minute drill and proceeded to get a sack/fumble. Look, maybe Grossman plays better than Cousins yesterday maybe not, but I am as content with him coming in as I would be with Grossman. Grossman is a 50/50 passer, maybe he won yesterday, maybe he throws the exact same picks Cousins threw. I don't know, but long term we might as well let Cousins see the field and get reps. Grossman, I still don't know why he is here at this point.

I agree but Moss is the most accomplished of the group and I think most clutch of the group.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts

The Redskins played an excellent game. But they lost only because of the defense's inability to contain a 36 year old TE. Roddy White and Julio Jones were expected to have nice games against the Redskins secondary, but our inability to limit Tony Gonzales is what mostly cost us the game.
