Well, that explains it!
President Obama is using a Cold War-era mind-control technique known as "Delphi" to coerce Americans into accepting his plan for a United Nations-run communist dictatorship in which suburbanites will be forcibly relocated to cities. That's according to a four-hour briefing delivered to Republican state senators at the Georgia state Capitol last month. |

You will mosty likely get it. The people that voted for free outnumbered the people that voted for freedom. |
Re: Official 2012 Election Day Thread
Every politician sells perks. That's how they get votes. Mitt offered perks to businesses and the wealthy, and ideology (or as close as any one candidate comes to covering your views.) More often than not, if you'll be getting a direct benefit, you'll vote for that person.
Are we new to politics around here? That's how politics work. Just like the industries that contribute to politicians get favors. However, when it comes down to it. If people are going to get perks, I'm glad it's the middle class and not the uber wealthy. |

What a douche bag. I'm glad this assclown's political career is OVER. Good riddance asshole. Here I thought the guy gave a great concession speech, only to find out he turned around and ****ed his staffers. Good job staff, and as a reward for your loyalty and hard work, let me **** you over. Thanks! This message is approved by Mitt Romney!
Makes perfect sense to me. When you shut down your office the first thing you do is shut off the cash before people decide to have the night out with other peoples money. Its very easy to max out a card and the other party having no chance to come back and require you to pay it back. |

I gotta agree with FD here to a certain extent. The only way I don't agree is if Romney asked these staffers to put on events or something campaign related that would cost money, and when it came time to pay the card was dead. The article didn't state that as the case. Seems like a generally smart move. If I quit a company and have a corporate card, I expect it to be dead on my last day. |

I highly doubt it's procedure to cut those cards off immediately like that with bills still left to be paid. Also, I don't think that has been a huge problem with some staffer going out and blowing money on a CC that he would most definitely have to pay back anyways. They normally have other business to conclude afterwards that need funding. Cutting them off the night off is stupid. No two ways about it. I mean, whos going to clean up? They just leaving all the stuff there? No. |

Ask my buddy how it feels to toss an employee the keys to his vet to run an erran and the person never came back. Couldn't press charges because he gave her the keys to use his car. |

That's not what the police told my buddy. They said when he tossed her the keys if he didn't tell her to go straight to the bank and back they could not arrest her. They did arrest her for stealing the money she took but not his car/vet and she was caught in FL. |
