Seriously? I think this is starting to get a little overblown. I get that what he said was extremely racist and could very easily hurt people. But he's apologized profusely to everyone that could have been offended, he says he's disgusted with himself...what more can he do? Michael Vick said he could accept Cooper as a teammate, so I think this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. Everyone needs to move on; forgive and forget.[/quote]

I agree enough already. They're killing this guy. He made a mistake and owned up to it. Move on. If he does it again then drop the hammer. Until then give the guy a 2nd chance.

I agree but there are guys in the locker room that will never forgive or forget. Everyone has said something about another race that they regret. But he got caught saying it on camera. You gotta really watch what you say if you're in the public eye.

Kerry Collins used that word to another teammate and went on to have a long career.

Is Sal Pal stationed outside Riley Cooper's house yet?

That's true. Michael Vick is one that's ready to forgive. LeSean McCoy isn't. But at this point, it's not Cooper's problem anymore; it's the people who won't forgive that are in the wrong.

Reily Cooper just needs a Tosh web redemption and it would clear this whole thing up.

Not with the same team. Kerry was telling a joke and used the word, he didn't realize there was a double standard and Blacks can say it and Whites can't, live and learn ....so keep calm and carry on .

Wow, I thought that video was fresh, not nearly 2 months old. That's pretty bad, and it certainly doesn't help Cooper look legit in his apology. He would've come out ahead if he confronted it head-on before it got hot.

Exactly. He didn't think he'd get caught. And that's crazy about the cheerleader lol

The Warren sapp special was great. NFL network really puts out great shows on former players.
