Vrabel was another one of my favs from Hard Knocks. I'm not sure I care if he hasn't been a DC before. He was a very smart heady player. Since he's been coaching he seems to really be a great teacher. He also comes from two winning programs in NE and Ohio State. He played under BB and Crennel and those guys know how to make in game adjustments. Also the Texans play really good tough defense, even without Watt. I don't think this would be a good hire, this would be a great hire. We need guys like this in the building. He would bring a winning culture and command respect. Get it done Jay.

What really stood out with me was how he teaches guys the small things. I have no doubt that one of the reasons Clowney has finally reached his potential is because of Vrabel.
