Wow...I think this would be interesting...thoughts? First comment is great too
I think at some point it just becomes too ridiculous. I like the idea of either getting rid of the extra point and forcing teams to go for two each time they score a TD, or to institute the further extra point attempt that they tested out last preseason. |

the point that it might be vindictive or the LDS can be/do d-bag things is fair, but J reid is a cowboys fan that did a horrible job covering the skins beat and somehow got paid for it (like JLC). the redskins don't owe him future employment or earnings. they just don't.
As a Redskins fan, I wasn't looking forward to the show, I'm glad it is not happening. It's tough trying to feel sorry for Reid, while his criticism may have been on point, he was always an ass about it (i.e. his Twitter fights with some of the players). |

Wow...I think this would be interesting...thoughts? First comment is great too
Are they going to lower the amount of time per quarter to make up for the extra time it would take to do all of this stuff? I guarantee you that the networks arent going to give up commercial time to keep the game from being to long. The extra point is already the most boring part of the game, and Irsay wants to add more extra points. The competition committee should vote to have Irsay drug tested weekly. Or vote to change the name of the sport, because its getting less like football every year. |

Brunell on NFL Live giving us the "Insanity Award" for our free-agency period this offseason. Saying we should've done something to help the QB situation.

I can think of a lot of things. Get better O-Linemen. Improve our tight ends. Get backs that can block. Obviously the roster isnt set yet but its not hard to figure out what he means. |

He means "I'm pissed off at the Skins because they didn't keep me as their starting QB for another five years and pay me a lot of money even though I was so far over the hill that I couldn't see it anymore. So, take that, Dan Snyder!". |

Re: All things off season 2015.
I dont necessarily agree with him I just get (I think I do anyway) what hes saying.
There were some linemen, we didnt sign them.... And as I pointed out, the roster isnt set yet, nor have we drafted. Hes a QB anyway, his priorities should be obvious. |

Why all the hate for Mark Brunell?
|
Re: All things off season 2015.
Not sure which QB Brunell wanted us to sign. Did he want us to sign Matt Moore? Or bring back JC? There was no one on the open market worth signing.

He talked about how we didn't sign anyone along the OL or sign a vet QB to back up/help RG. Don't see how that translates to an "Insanity" |
Re: All things off season 2015.
The RTs that were available decided not to come here at the price the redskins offered. if they gave one of them 8-10M a year, i bet we'd be on the insanity list for a different reason.
I just don't know what exactly he expected us to do; summon a better OL through sorcery i guess. The options in FA were minimal and gone fast. the only thing we can reasonably do is get a better blocking TE and RB. if we wanted to be unreasonable, we could have paid that ridiculous contract to TE Clay or grabbed crabtree to be our new #3 WR, but again, I think most people would be pretty upset if we did that. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Can't believe the money Clay got from Buffalo. Crazy money for a te.

Essentially, this offseason, we traded our 2011 2nd Round picks with Chicago.
Jenkins was the 41st choice in the 2011 draft and Stephen Paea was the 53rd. |

A strange twist in the Jason Reid show that was cancelled....but now back on.
And in a bizarre and unexplained subplot, someone made prank calls to WTEM this month claiming to be the president of ESPN — one of the most powerful sports media figures in the country — and demanding the show’s cancellation, and nearly succeeded. While the calls were a hoax, the person making them mimicked ESPN President John Skipper’s Southern drawl and knew enough about ESPN 980’s inner workings to initially convince station executives that they were from Skipper, according to three people with knowledge of the events.
LOL. You can't make this shit up. Lil Danny should buy the Ringling Brothers Circus because he has a lot of experience running one. What a clownshoe operation. :laughing2 |
