#Redskins guard Tyler Catalina went down during OTAs yesterday and left practice, per source. Don’t know severity of injury. Will learn more today. This comes a week After Kouandjio out for season w torn quad.
Unreal
From the film break downs last year, he was by far the worst OL on the field. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |
Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
This isn't unreal...also remember Luavao has an injury history as well. So expect him missing time at some point.
Go get Richie I and quit this nonsense. |
Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
He wasn't good but he is depth, this would be 2 G's hurt already.

Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Oh yes he was... The fact that he was still on our roster is not a good sign about our depth at the position. |
Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
agree with above posts - he was very, very hard to watch out there.

Richie Incognito isn't good enough at football to make up for what a despicable person he is.
Pass. |

More notes from today "Alex Smith was decisive as a passer; saw him try to keep alive only 1 play in 7-7, but he did not run; still threw it...Took some shots in situations I'm not sure he would have in a game. But, he told us, now is the time to do that -- see what happens." |

I wouldn’t mind him being here on a one year deal. This is exactly the type of cut vet who could fill a gaping hole on the roster. Did Callahan have him at Nebraska?
And you were saying....? These dudes wanted to be gangbangers. And now reality has set in for those hood rats. They should be out enjoying life like a lot of 20 somethings. Instead they're in a jail cell doing hard time, wasting their lives away cause they made piss poor decisions. And the nerve for Rivera's mother to say it was an "accident and a mistake." WTF is she thinking? How do you go to someones house, w/ a gun, break in to steal money and end up shooting and killing someone? How in the hell is that a mistake? What a dumb, simple ass bitch. |

We're running out of shit to talk about. I know, let's rehash old shit.
Dominique Rodgers Cromartie and Jonathan Hankins are still available. So is Bashaud Breeland. Discuss. |

I think Hankins blew the chance of getting decent to good contract. I think the next best thing he can do is wait until training camp and see if one DT gets injured. |

So happy I missed the Incognito discussion. Hopefully it is only taking place in here and absolutely nowhere near our FO. Eff that psycho asshole.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
Dez says he's turned down offers from Baltimore, he wants to play for an NFCE team from what has been rumored. Hankins must really want big $, glad we didn't sign him.
|
Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
The response to little interest for Dez strongly confirms what Ive thought...completely overrated WR. He had 3 really good years and pretty avg there after.
Please remember...WR free agent market was dry this year. The WR draft class was largely meh. There should be a market if he was truly a talent. |
I admit that Hankins still being out there is a hard one to understand .Makes you wonder if there something more to it or does he just need to fire his agent!
He misread the market, and the draft. He thought he would wait it out like last year and pick his spot. The draft had several viable young interior DL and teams didn't want to go top dollar when the rookie class looked tempting. At some point he made the decision to wait and see, and we will see if it works for him. Not likely to make anywhere near what he would have in the first few weeks of FA though. |

I understood getting and leaving from there is difficult, but what about the stadium itself, what makes it such a disappointing place to watch a football game? Awful. When Fed Ex was first opened there was very little there to offer other than strip malls and.....? 2) I sat in the Upper level of the FED Ex ONCE and never again. You might as well be on a plane or blimp watching. You are so far up and away from the field. Binoculars are a must. I would rather watch on TV than sit in the Upper level. 3) Fed Ex is now considered old and out dated. Has very little of today's amenities that new stadiums have. But mostly it cannot compete with a new stadium. RFK was old but at least it had some character. Fed EX is ugly. |
Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
FedEx Field is probably the single worst decision in franchise history. Iconic RFK in D.C. to mediocre stadium in Bumblefuck, Egypt.

Yep, they have basically conceded Maryland to Baltimore, and moving closer to Richmond would re-inforce that. I am really hoping that they get the land in Oxon Hill. But seems like a long shot. |

80% of the Redskins fan base does not live in Maryland. |

They already have their training camp there. If they have an interest in fighting territory with Baltimore then they will keep it closer than Richmond, but they could get land by Quantico/Fredericksburg cheaper and with a lot less drama then the Oxon Hill site, or in DC proper. Also, a more southern site in between DC and Richmond might have a better shot at hosting multiple Superbowls, Something you know Dan would like. I do think we will hear some serious discussions on the final site pretty soon. The land lease at FedEx expires in 2027, so there are still 8 seasons but you have to get the land finalized first. edit: Jerry's world took 26 months to build, so that would mean all the permitting and paperwork needs to be in place around 2024. So I guess we still have 4-5 years before a final site decision has to be made. |
