He admitted he goofed on that pick and Cravens as well But he was a talented player, can't deny that, just more to becoming a great player than talent alone |
I don't know ... I think our $1500 car has serious transmission issues, and we can't fix that. Therefore, our $1500 car just won't go for us.
The guy we can sell this too can fix that transmission and make it go for him. I think that's more the reality in this picture.
There's nothing wrong with Chase Young's transmission. |

That is true .... I read that analogy as a Trent Williams trade deal .... which is a different thread altogether .... Whoops. |

Chase young is also an accomplished singer.

He also really loved Nate Sudfield too... It's all a crap shoot |
Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
Nate was a good pick imo. 6th rounder in 2016, has been on the eagles roster, he’s making nfl money.
If we had managed to keep Nate, we wouldn’t have gone through the mark sanchez/josh Johnson parade and would have not have to trade a 5 th for our back up this year. Nate, a good young backup qb, as a 6th round pick was a good pick imo. |

Lol. Unless other picks involved their 2nd and 3rd, and multiple future 1st round picks that was a waste of time calling. Hopefully they have anytime minutes. |

That's a cool article. Wonder how other teams are handling it. Sounds like the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed. |
Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
Tonight we will draft the best defensive player in this class for a team desperate of a star on that side of the ball! I'm cool with that

What if Miami trades to number one and takes young ... what do we do??

Sell Burrow to the highest bidder. |

HA! That would be an amazing turn of events...highly doubtful though. |

If they wanted Young, trading to #2 with the Redskins would be cheaper, wouldn't it? |

No, because hopefully, we wouldn't do it. |

Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
Sorry but the actual trade was off by TWO DAYS. Teams were super turned off by Trent and his ass clown agent’s incredibly high salary demands. Most Redskin fans hate him now. We got a FIFTH rounder, for him, which is worth about a chicken salad sandwich. Most fifth rounders, if they survive TC, play special teams for while, then backup to a starter and are dumped at the end of their contract. I’ll feel better about this trade next draft when we get our third for him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
I started this thread and hopefully this post will end it. In the end, there were no trades in the first 10 picks of the 2020 draft. As I thought Cincy held fast with their QB. I think the Redskins indicated that they got one total trade package. I don’t think that formal offer or any informal feelers was anywhere close to what they needed to really consider a trade. It was either Miami with a massive trade package with their #5, #18 and a second rounder or something like that, or nothing.
The interest in Tu was dampened by his injury history and the inability of teams to talk to him by the Coronavirus pandemic. So all the pre-draft dreams of a massive trade offer were just a pipe dream. The Redskin fed the media the story of being interested in Tua. THAT really lit some fires in the media and Redskins fan sites. It was a complete smoke screen. Rivera was just trying to raise possible offers for our #2 spot. It didn’t work but many fans took it seriously. Miami was never fooled and realized that the two teams ahead of them at #3 & .#4 (Detroit and the N.Y. Giants) had no interest in Tua. So all the theories of big trades were just more hot air. So, we get Chase and maybe a superstar that this team needs! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
